I'll start. Hell for me is nothing to do with exteriors. Hell is battling with one's own mind. Fighting the feelings of regret and misery and trying to get a grapple hold on your own perceptions and shortcomings. Lack of mental fortitude would be my hell.
Being taken to a facility, pinned down, then the person takes a fruit peeler and starts peeling little slivers off my eyeball.
Seriously, constant, painful loss of loved ones. Smart ass: Being eternally exposed to bigots and religious freaks.

I just think of hell as a fire and brimstone kinda place. A hell on earth is when I run out of cigarettes.
Nobody believing that you are who you actually are. Like, personality-wise, everyone, for some reason, just treating you like you were somebody else.
Hell is a table filled with food but the chopsticks are too long to eat with. Heaven is the same table except they use the giant chopsticks to feed each other instead. I think that's a good metaphor.
Life is what you make of it and little slices of hell are freely available for those intent on finding them. Hell is being in an ideal setting and being too stupid and stubborn to recognize it.
