The DPRK isn't communism. Its feudalism with a false democratic, republican, and communist facade. Kim Jong Il just died, and who is taking over? Why, its his son, much like a monarchy. True communism is what the Basque people have at Mondragon, what the labor Zionists had on the kibbutz, what Russian, Christian Anarchists had on pre-Bolshevik soviets, and what early Christians had in their fellowships. Acts 2 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. The Bolsheviks were to Communism what the Vatican was to Christianity. Neither of them promoted the real thing, just a twisted up version that they used to control people with.
In it's purest form, Communism is based on the principal that everyone works for the government and the government provides everything for everyone. Unfortunately, as nice as this might sound, it falls to take human nature in to account. In reality, there is no incentive for people to work harder and make investments, because there is no greater reward over and above what can be made by doing less.
Communism is a big lie. It was set up by the central banks that run the world as a test on how to enslave entire nations. Socialism is no different, but works more incrementally.
Communism is the distribution between goods, services amongst the people. Government is eliminated and the people govern themselves. All private property is released and handed over to the people 100% Democracy. But, since everyone cant own everything someone has to govern it... The problem is, Communism requires a leader or else it is Anarchism. When you have a leader in a democratic society where all the money goes through you... Well now, global leaders tend to take some off the top. There are many forms of Communism here are a few off the top of my head: Marxism Leninism Trotskyism Stalanism Socialism Totalitarianism Maoism Castroism <Not really a name but different ideals considered to most revolutions. Etc. Etc. Now most of those revolve around the same basic idea "Equality" Marxism defines it in its pure form, Why should I be payed less than a trashman if I work 3x as hard? So everyone is payed the same amount and homes are given to the homeless. Food is the same price everywhere and you make just enough money to survive. Which sparks another problem, in theory it is an humanitarian ideal but a social pestilence mostly because it helps everyone but at the same time everyone suffers. I recommend reading "The Communist Manifest" Or the original name "The manifesto of the Communist Party" And if you are really interested I suggest reading books revolving around the Bolshevik and Menshovik parties in Russia. Both are extinct but show us our mistakes. I highly insist you read up on Che Guavera and the sacrifices he gave to liberate Cuba .
And in Socialism you can have a big dick, you just can't put it in any further than a guy with a short dick.
Does Communism have to be acheived through violent revolution and the elimination of the upper classes?.
No, Marxism (Real Communism) can be achieved through non-violent actions/demonstrations. Basically the proletariat forces the upperclass to do what they say whether it is through violence or not, 1 person shouldn't decide the fate of millions.... Um u make it sound like they murder the upperclass haha. No, the majority (the lower class) receives free health care and donations from the more um "Important people." I would be happy to answer any more questions you have!
But just like democracy communism cannot work, because the proletariat (or call them the common people) isn't (aren't) able to rule and make wise decision.
I'd recommend The ABC of Communism by Nikolai Bukharin. He was a revolutionary in Russia, was a member of the Politburo and eventually put on trial and executed during Stalin's purges. It's an interesting read and the first section explains the ideals of Communism. You must read it with a critical eye because this was published for Russians with no understanding of Communism during the civil war following the revolution. It romanticises aspects of Communism but also can give great insight into why people buy into it.
Communism is an attempt by people with zero power to overthrow the regime they see as oppressing them in favour of an utopian society governed by accountable managers distributing all products to each according to their needs. In practice, it has always involved violent and murderous revolution and destruction of all infrastructure of the regime the fanatics hate personally, followed by wholesale repression of anyone who tries to argue with the very necessary amount of heavy-handed control the new regime's leaders find they need to instigate in order to have any form of productive society at all. The result is an overall lowering of standards.
Make a wise decision? Why should a corporation that knows how to exploit the hard work of the proletariat be able to lead a nation that has more poor than rich? Sounds like some robin hood king shit too me. If you think that a king who eats in front of the starving deserves to be in power.... Should probably stop my rant there before it gets out of hand Doing a good job manipulating capitalism sure. But again, why should I get payed less, if I work harder? You understand?
