I mean in terms of food, you dirty minded folks!

I've been craving salty foods a lot lately, but not greasy ones. I've been eating a lot of ramen because those 'flavour' packets are so freakin salty without it being as greasy as potato chips

You ask this? Here comes a preggo answer:

FRUIT! I've totally been craving strawberries, pineapples, plums, bananas, etc.

Salty things, like chips. Oh yum. Heaven!

And the strangest thing, I think, has been wanting to drink orange soda with pickle juice in it.

A 4 lbs grease-dripping-burger with 6 slices of bacon, ham, egg and cheese on it. Hold the pickle, tomato and lettuce.

[IMG] yowza, I don't think I could stomach that. I dont like orange soda or pickle juice (pickles themselves are alright, but the juice is pretty freakin potent)

I want fruit too, I miss it. Our local grocery store has had shitty fruit for nearly two months now, all bruised and damaged and expensive as fuck. I found a couple oranges and a couple kiwi's that are ok but the kiwis need to ripen a little more before they're really yummy

we're so lucky to be in a port town...We get fruit, for not bad prices. Pineapples are only $4.00 each.

I could send you one. :p

I've been craving salty things, like pretzels. I should be avoiding the salt though considering I'm getting all dressed up tomorrow evening in figure showcasing evening clothes and I'm feeling bloated at the moment. :p

except shipping is probably at least double what hte fruit itself cost. We have some decent pineapples too in the bigger groceries but they're like $8 each (Canadian though)... I LOVE pineapple, it's totally my favourite fruit, it's soooooo good *drools*

I didn't like pineapple until I got pregnant. But then again, I'd only had the icky too-sweet canned stuff. Now, if Brian brings home a pineapple, it lasts about 5 minutes.

    Gosh, they are soooo good.

Oh, it's a fancy shmancy social with a bunch of old men and old women. ;) Seriously though, it's work related (for my hubby) and he has to make his appearance because there are many good contacts that attend, plus he's basically representing his place of employment.

Next weekend we have to go to a ball (again, work-related contacts for my hubby). I have to really get dressed up for that one. Last year it looked like a prom or something.

I get so nervous going to these things! I shouldn't, I've been going to them for the past 7 years, but still...I feel like I'm on display or something and it brings out my insecurities even moreso!
