The one thing that high school thought me is that it was way better to be an outcast. Than it was to one of the popular people. I loved/love my group of friends from high school. They are what made those 4 long years worth it. What I want to know is what has/did high school teach you?
High school taught me that people are two-faced always But on a better note, I wouldn't take my high school experience back. I feel like those years really defined me and molded me into who I became
I have to agree with that people are always two faced. I would have to say the same about my high school experience.
i was bullied, but had a good group of friends. secondary school taught me how to stand up for myself, and that what goes around comes around i see some of those popular people from my year from time to time, they kiss my ass - i've not the time for drunk, failing 'losers'. ironic really.
That sucks that you were bullied. But its good that you had a good group of friends and that you learned how to stand up for yourself. Thats usually how it goes popular kids end up being the 'losers' and the kids that they bullied end up making something of themselves.
I was bullied, too quite a bit...then I took kick boxing and taught all those guys that girls CAN AND WILL destroy them
things i learned in high school... 1. administrators are fascist shit-asses. 2. coaches are fascist shit-asses. 3. cheerleaders are stuck up cunts. 4. jocks are bulling assholes. 5. never, ever, trust authority. 6. adults are so full of shit that their eyes are brown. 7. never, ever, turn your back on an asskisser. 8. keep your back to the wall at all times; that way you'll stay safe from flying knifes. 9. being shitfaced drunk and/or stoned is the only way to survive the god forsaken shithole that is "high school." 10. never, ever, have childern of my own! i could never, ever, live with myself, if i was forced to subject my kids, to that hell of a totalitarian rathole called "high school." 11. when i got to college, i thought, i had died and gone to heaven! college was easy and fun!
I learned how people are judged. I learned the criteria that puts people into certain social classes. I learned that campuses with 'closed campus' rules might as well have barbed wire on the fences. I learned that women do not like the timid. I also learned not to trust the food. I didn't learn too much in class though, the only classes that ever interested me was History/English. So I learned some there but failed due to lack of homework. I just taught myself what I wanted to know.
high school was fun. being able to mess around with your friends and make new friends. playing sports. just being a kid havin fun
Nice, I learned that too. Same here while I did the homework I still sucked at math lol. I did teach myself some of what I wanted to know.
It taught me that the people you loved most and spent every living second with only love you until after graduation is over. I learned that after high school, if you don't go to college you'll never have a use for knowing how to sit at a desk and listen to lectures. I learned about all the newest fads and slang and how rich snobby kids were friends with my teachers and even had their cell numbers! They got away with murder because they were jailbait and our old man teachers would jizz themselves if they batted an eyelash and give them late passes or extended time to do late assignments but didn't let people like me get away with shit. So I learned how people get ahead in life. I learned that after high school, you'll never have a totally carefree day where your only worry is submitting an assignment on time or if so and so likes you because he passed notes with you in fifth period. Bragging to your friends about trivial stuff. I definitely miss high school.
