what happened to my thread?

i created a thread earlier about regreting missing a ween concert and now my thread has completely dissappeared, what the fuck

 

Their pretty sticky about the title being very relevant to the thread lately.

 

probably the same thing that happened to my 2girls1cup thread...

 

well it didnt even get moved to the whinners forum, i was given zero warning or anything, im not impressed if they deleted my thread, usually they would just move a thread to a different forum, but they never have done that to me. they should atleast tell me theyre doing something instead of totally removing it without and heads up, thats uncool.

 

It's happened to me before. It wasn't very important so it really didnt bother me all too much. But a little warning would have been appreciated.

 

thats all i ask, so i can know where to put my thread next time, it just seems kinda rude to me, i have had zero problems with the administraitors in the past so they should be able to give me atleast one warning, instead of completely removing my thread, cause im sure if they created a thread and had it completely removed without a warning they wouldnt be to happy about it, im not really mad just feel like things coulda been dealt with better.

 

same thing happened to me the other day! i figured they'd tell me first./.. or just move it... i was a little irked. it didnt used to be like this. after all, it IS random thoughts... doesnt that imply a random title?

yeah, its definitely changed here alot. but change is inevitable. this place has grown alot, too. I remember the old OLD forums... back when i when i was like 16... like 7 years ago! god ive been here too long..

 

yep i was all excited that after i get 1000 posts i could make my own avatar like it use to be back in the day, but now after i got 1000 posts i found out i had to be a supporter to create my own avatar, that bummed me out for like half a second cause i had one hell of a cool pic for an avatar. but back to subject of the thread, i agree it is random thoughts, i understand my thread couldve been placed in the whinners forum but most ppl i like posting with post more in the random thoughts than whinners.

 

haha 7 years on the forums, haha i wouldve just been a youngyin at that time not even close to being a hippie at that age, back when i was angery and unhappy about how i was getting treated at school, but to unhappy to say anything to my parents. then i went to highschool and discovered a whole crew of hippies who became my friends and influenced my life for the better, showing me good vibes instead of bad ones

 

crowding do to over population leads to draconian brutality.
not that it has to at any particular point. that point is mostly arbitrary.
but that it sooner or later does, is just something that happens.

its not about moving threads - why move a thread when it has a crappy title? - come up with a title that meets the requirements. its not that hard to be creative with the title.

 

hopefully this thread will meet with the same demise...

if the mods had to inform someone every single time they had to do something they'd be explaining themselves to THOUSANDS of people all the time. it's a waste of time. it's nothing personal. it's just a thread, man. let it go.

 

You're not impressed? Sorry, I didn't know my job as a moderator was to impress you. You were given a heads up.... it's called reading the stickies at the top of the forum.

 

Pink Floyd and the grobe- is it really that difficult to create a relative title for threads? That is a rule Skip created for a reason- there is a stickey right up there that says that. It's not my fault if you are too lazy to read.

I can't imagine why something like thread titles would be so difficult for some people.
