What exactly is the second coming of christ?

I have a pretty rough idea about what it is, but I've never really known what its all about. The things I hear are about how jesus is supposed to come back, then kill everyone (the sinners) with natural disasters, and the faithful will be saved. Doesn;t that make Jesus a faciast? And when is it supposed to happen anyway? I'm sure my question is somewhere on this site already though.

That link is broken. And I don't want a whole story, or a documentary, just tell me what the second coming of christ is, and what its supposed to achieve, other than killing the non-believers, like a totalitarian dictator, or the spanish inquisition.

In the gospel books there is talk about the coming of Son of man. But the coming of the Son of man is not Jesus.


According to Revelation Jesus is the prince of kings of the earth Rev 1:5 According to the book of Daniel the prince is Michael.

Anyhow, according to Revelation Christ came back to John in spirit through an angel of his. And this Christ has a new name...

Anyway, the author of Revelation is a very slick liar as the rest of the authors to books in the bible.

Oh and according to the gospel books Jesus Christ rose from the dead (though that's a lie). Thus meaning he already came back if you buy into that lie. The beast didn't even have a chance to come first back then. It wasnt the end of the world or the last day back then.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

So the voice of the archangel came to John like a trump, but the dead supposidly in Christ did not rise? Unless no one could see them depending on the state they rise in.

But they are suppose to rise into a 1000 year reign with Christ after the beast is defeated. It's safe to say the beast will never come.

It sounds like the greatest lie sown was planned by a bunch of certain people (the elect) to continue an interest in the lies of the old written about. In a new form for the fooled followers it came to where Lord Jesus Christ would be made out as Michael (the archangel and prince).

Sorry there, Sign Related, didn't see your post. That broadens what I thought about this "second coming" but I'm still in the dark about this whole thing. And personally, having many zombie nightmares, would hate to have a zombie jesus rule the world. And what of the non-believers? Does he plan to leave them in the dust while the faithful are treated to a kingdom in the sky? Or am I missing something?

I was told by a very religious man, that if you were to hear god's true voice, that your head would explode. So I guess this explains spontanius combustion. And if you can hear jesus speaking to you in your head, your insane. And preists... do I even have to say anything? This was predicted by the Maya Indians. The "year of the fig tree". Torn could probably give you more information on it then I could. If this is true, then the winner of the election would be the antichrist and his seven year reign would be from 2005 until 2012 (Daniel 9:27, Revelation 13:5). The first three years of his reign will be all about peace and diplomacy. The last three years is when the true colors will show. The Bible tells us that this man will be one of eloquence. People will adore him.

A true desire of God, complete faith and trust, a desire to please him, a life according to his plan, building yourself up in his word, living with the presence of his holy ghost.... these are what you need to walk in faith.

Mainstream Christianity teaches the Trinity. There is no trinity. God manifests himself in three different forms.... God, Jesus (flesh) the holy spirit (his spirit). He died for our salvation. It was part of the covenant he had to fulfill.

If someone repents and they are honestly sorry, they will be forgiven. That is what God's love is all about. The salvation plan is baptism in his name and the in filling of his holy ghost.

The third temple will be built when the antichrist signs the covenant giving Israel the landrights (from Palastine). They will build the third temple and resume the animals sacrifices of the past. The antichrist will travel to the Jewish temple (that only Jews are allowed in) and stand in the middle to put an end to the sacrifices. He will then set himself up as God. This is called the, "Abomination of deslolation". (Daniel (9:27)
