What exactly is communal living....

Do people share homes with other families? Can someone explain it in detail. I'm not sure if I could ever do it, but I'm curious about it

 

basically it means living in community with others - some do it in the same house - other, private space is important - it should mean that you desire to be living with those in the community - if it does not - then I suggest that you might be in the wrong community...one of the reasons that nowadays it's usually called intentional community
I mean we all live in community - but how many of us live and work together with people of like mind that we want to be living in close proximity with and working toward common goals together - that is what intentional community is about

Once you do it - you are spoiled and do not know if you want to do without.
