    Hi.
I've been smoking for about three years now. One day out of pure boredom I decided that I would start saving my seeds to perhaps grow a plant. Well after a week or two I had about 35 seeds saved up.

I began checking the internet, and have recently tried to begin growing. So far I have germinated the seeds by putting them in 1/2 glass of water. After that I put them in some paper towels for a week. They have began to sprout nicely. So today I decided to go ahead and put them in a medium.

I went to the local walmart and found some product by jiffy. They give you a trey which they call a "mini-greenhouse", and these small circular tabs (maybe you guys have seen this) you soak them in water and they are wrapped in some cloth like netting. They become spongey dirt.

I came home and placed the germinated seeds in the soil (keeping in mind some of these seeds were like two inches) I put them in and covered them and took them to a very secluded place where they could get alot of light. I kept the plastic trey of the product on also.

If they do become seedlings soon, I plan to put them in a new pot, with the proper nutrients.

Do you think this method will work, after all it is outside growing. Would it be a waste of my time? My friend implies that it will be impossible for me to yeild little or no buds. Can anyone give me some good insight?

Jiffy pellets tend to dry up and not get a lot of oxygen to the roots. I'd transplant into real soil asap.

No reason why planting them in a container outdoors and providing some nutrients won't get you a yield. Sounds like your friend is a negative nancy boy.

Just be careful with the wee ones. The sun will torch them if you do not introduce them to it slowly and start off with a 1/4 strength solution for the nutes.

As Ninfan77 said bag seed can produce :)

I went down to the spot today. About seven of the 20 have started to sprout. Two are green and looking okay and a few are yellow. I'm quite concerned. I hope they look hetter tomorrow.

I want to try and get some pics

There is - just let somebody else do all the work, then buy your marijuana from them!
