What do you call marijuana...

...when you call your dealer? Or just in general conversation? In conversation I normally say bud, sometimes weed. When I call my dealer I just say, can we meet up? And then he asks if it's the usual (amount).

I was in Baton Rouge a few weeks ago when me and a friend ran into a guy who said his name was "Smoke". He offered me and my buddy tabs and we said no but we'd buy some bud. He then called his dealer and asked , "Yo, I got 2 guys here who are lookin for that purp like whoa".

 

considering the only thing i'd ever buy is chronic I'd usually say "nuggets" or "chunks"

 

My Stoner friend usually calls the dealers. He calls Bud 'Green' Hash 'Pot', and his universal term for Marijuana is 'Gear'.

 

"Tickets." It's his official code. "Dude, Celtics are gonna be great again this year - you got a block of tickets?"

 

Well with my friends we call it chicken, but with my dude I just tell him I need to see him and tell him how much and thats it, I don't even have to leave the house.

to my "dealer" (my friend's cousin haha), i say weed.

unless you're moving pounds or are in mixed company, names are just silly. but on that note, if i'm trying to be silly i call it "hippopatamus lettuce"

 

I actually agree, Marksup - the whole code word thing strikes me as goofy too - but the dealer feels safer this way *shrug*

 

I think I'm going to adopt "purp like whoa". I had no idea when we asked him for bud we were wanting the purp like whoa, but I couldn't argue with it either.

i almost never call it pot or weed. the term i use the most is probably bud, followed closely by green, than good (sry thats just what everybody in the hood in my town calls it)

 

my dealer always insists on calling it "movies"

like "Hey do you need to check out a new movie?"

i think its pretty annoying but like another person said sometimes code words make dealers feel safer

in like grade 9, id call it "jars' (pot, jar - get it?)

however, i now feel that the laws are so idiotic, i dont really bother much with discretion. however, i have friends who will hang up if you mention "weed", "air filters", "growing", "bud", etc. (they stop short of wearing foil hats anyways...)
