I believe that people had better start posting in my David Attenborough thread and geeking out over how fucking awesome he is or I'm not friends with any of you anymore. I believe in science, and I believe that people are basically good.
I love this attitude but hate when certain individuals prove it to be a generalisation and not a 100% fact.
You have no idea As for beliefs, I believe in having fun in this life and achieve as much as possible, because you never know if there is a next one.
I believe theres some kind of logical order and reason to the universe, and people have a natural tendency to anthropomorphise it into gods and such. I see it becoming problematic when their willing to fight over these beliefs. In my spiritual universe, if there is a 'god', it doesn't get mad or care if you faith in it. I believe that lifes a miracle. (in my agnostic sense) Mostly, I believe this is all we have. So I think all my life should be devoted to helping others. Someone once helped me with shelter when I needed it most... I was too young to take care of myself. When I asked why, he told me 'you don't need a reason to help people.' That's something I try and live by.
