Rittys are the best family dog I've ever had, fearless, protective and wonderful with kids. They tend to fear water though, and pure breds in the US are rife with hihp dysplasia and skin problems. This is easily overcome by crossing them with Labrador Retrievers. You get a friendly, smart, brave, protective dog that loves to swim and has none of the problems that Rottys have.

Female Rotts have a natural aggression towards children...

    look it up

I find them to be dangerous. Everyone thinks their dog is so sweet naturally but Rotts and other naturally agressive dogs have been known to turn on even their owners. There was a situation out in Cali where a pair of Rotts escaped their confine and attacked two 9 year old boys. The dogs proceeded to eat one boy while the other stood in shock.

Look it up once again or if you like I will.

Now look: If you wanna have these dogs that is certainly your right as an american to do so but I don't want them anywhere near me or my family at any time.

    Thats my buck o' five

Have any of u owned a rottie? if no then how the hell would u know that their dangerous? Rotties back in the 1800's were actually breeded to become police dogs! but now their jus a normal family dog! they are great with children! I agree with Paula because I've seen and played with her dogs! Dont go judging the rotties when u aint been brought up with them!

Rottweilers have been known to attack because of the way their brought up and being in such famous movies such as people under the stairs, the omen etc gives them bad reputations, ppl dont like having rotties around kids neway because rotties dont like being pulled about i could pull mine about because they know im its owner, i wouldnt ever hurt my dogs and wouldnt let ne 1 else either. my rotts have always protected and loved me back!!

u love your dog theyll love u rite back!! so dont opinionate on somin u know nothing about

kate has'nt owned rotties but would like to, even she knows that their very playful and loving, yes i agree there is alot of rott atacks on ppl but thats because they dont bring their rotts up perfessionally. rotts will be the protector of the house and if and dogs, cats, or ppl enter their territory they will guard and sometimes may attack if nesscessary but only to to stand their ground and they know if killing is the way they'll go for it!!

u must always remember when owning a rottie show it ure the boss most ppl make this mistake and can end up hurt, or nearly killed.

First of all I have never seen any of those films you just mentioned nor I have seen any film where a rottweiler was posted as a vicious beast.

My experience is based on first hand accounts and news reports. I've also seen information from dog trainers who gave clear example.

My sister-in-law and her husband had a rott that was "so sweet" and "just loved kids" and one day my nephew was walking accross the room "about 6 or 7 feet away" and the dog freaked out and started growling and had to be restrained.

The next day I did my research and found out that female rotts are naturally agressive with children. I've known plenty of people and spent plenty of time with these animals to know that its not worth the risk to my children to have them around.

And now I, as an experienced former breeder and trainer, am telling you that you are a complete idiot and you don't know what you're talking about.

Show me your statistics from more than one reputable source. That means not the US Government. And don't tell me to look it up, you made the assertion now prove your lies or you are invited to shut YOUR hole, boy.
