its a pain in the ass... I just went from white to red because of the way that dreads tend to like to hold lint... pretty much anything you get stuck in your dreads is very very visible with white...

i'd beg to differ, tenshi, you can see everything with black hair (including the root cuticles), luxie i think plaitnum would look gorgeous. but, it's alotta upkeep and damage.

yeah. it will be damaging. but as far as upkeep I'm sure you can rock the roots look. I've thought about going blond but I don't think my hair can take much more bleaching

I'm searching for a gift. I'm planning on buying a first edition music book and gluing two emerald hearts to a page for an effect. It's difficult to tell whether it's a tacky gift on my budget. I'd like to get real emeralds but the only ones I've found are rough and uncut. I don't know whether to go with the fake but lovely ones or get the rough uncut ones and have them in a sperate bag. But doing that will not have the original effect I'd intended. I put way too much thought into gifts.

I woke up way too early today, so I took a coffee to go at the nearest restaurant and drank it on my balcony while smoking a joint and looking at the sunrise. I sent some resumes, listened to the music I downloaded last night and did some clean-up. I was about to have a super-productive day when I felt the need for a short nap. It was 10:30 when I went to bed... I woke up half an hour ago! Talk about a "short nap" dammit!

Must be the cool autumn weather that is making us all crave curry. :)
I'm gonna try to make garlic naan bread for the first time to go with my big pot of veggie, chickpea, coconut milk, tomato sauce curry. I love making this dish cause it uses up all the bits & pieces of veggies in my fridge and it turns out different each time I make it.

    Om Nom :D

Every time I make a curry or a pasta sauce it turns out different, I feel like a mad scientist over the hob chucking everything in I can find xD "lemon juice... jalepenos... Salsa?! Fuck it!!"

I'm having some problems with nausea... when I had glandular fever 2 years ago, I would get nauceous an hour or two after eating something. Or just before eating something... SO like, nausea instead of hunger. It would be so bad, if I didn't find the right thing I wanted to eat, and ate the wrong thing, I'd throw it all back up. Now, with my cfs, it hasn't been too bad, but the last week its been sO bad. It imght be cus I've gone vegan. Limiting my options may have had more of a psychological effect than practical one- if that makes any sense xD When I wanted to loose weight, I would supress my hunger untill I was rEEally hungry. I sort of enjoyed the feeling of hunger after a while. So somedays I would only have a couple of small things to eat. This shrunk my stomach (or so I think) so I could only eat smaller meals. Now, Maybe this has something to do with the nausea. I can only eat very small portions, often. And I would only feel ok about eating if I found the right thing to eat. The wrong thing would turn my stomach and I could feel my gag reflexes.. reflexing xD The other day I could barely finish half a jacket potato. Then an hour later I was hungry and extremely nauseous. Has anyone any ideea about what I'm on about? I went to the docs yesterday, who had no idea what cfs was... Hm.. Hopeless. He prescribed me with some pills for the nausea. They worked yesterday evening but not ttoday. Shit. I should probably put this in the health section but y'all are so used to my moaning, just wondered if anone had any ideas? The health section is probably dead anyway xD This has probably made no sense, so do ignore if you can't read it xD
