I had my first dready "client" today, a black butch chick who said I was a gypsy and asked if I was a natural redhead then if I was mixed race. I tightened up her dreadies at the roots and she gave me 80bucks and referred a friend to me who she says is the black version of me! lol good times. I'm starting another chicks locks tomorrow, she is so damn excited. and I met another knotty chick at a party last night, she wants me to help her with her dreads too, she's gonna pay me in smokey treats
I am loving this job so far, I get to meet some really cool people. they think I am le crace

 

gretaoto- Do you live near family? After I had my kiddos, many of my "friends' dropped off the face of the planet. Then I moved to a new city and had no clue how to make friends if I wasn't out at a bar or meeting them at work (stay at home mom). A big part of us moving was how lonely I felt. I feel for you.

 

Nope. We moved away from my family and now I live so many miles away and to be honest I lost my friends when I started dating my husband at the age of 17 mostly because my old friends were heavily into partying, sexapades and the like, and my now husband was totally not into any of that. I am also very very shy and intimidated by people which is why I can't make any new friends, and also why I am so wanting to move back to Chicago.

 

Sorry to hear that gret. Too bad some of us didn't live closer to each other. ANy chance you actually will move back? I'm happy you post here. =)

 

Oh yeah, I miss Chicago immensely. I could actually end up back there by November of this year. But if not then probably around November of next year. I am totally unsure about most of my future at the moment

went out lastnight for my bro's birthday, got back to my mates at 2 ish and decided to drop acid and tripped balls till this morning, since then I've slept for an hr or 2 and juuust got up

 

Well Ive been back in blighty for a week but this is the 1st time Ive posted since I got back,hello everybody!!
Im feeling very positive atm,time away from the norm and my shitty estate has made me determined to get out of here,Im currently working hard at my handmade things and trying to get some cash so we can go live somewhere nice.
Ive made some really pretty gloves today and also a cotton visor that Ill list on ebay,but in the meantime if anyone on here wants one custom made Im knocking them out for £10.00,on ebay it will be £15.00 due to postage and fees.The visor base is plastic so nice and sturdy.


Anyway is there anything I missed while I was away of any importance?
