i'm thinking about getting some but i want to know how they are like first. I have tried salvia (loved it) and of course weed. Is shrooms comparable to any of them. Although tbh I don't think i could handle and 8 hour trip like salvia...I froget who i am on that stuff sometimes
salvia is pure crap shrooms are very enlightening & enjoyable youll find yourself not forget yourself
eagle why do you say salvia is crp? Could you explain a mushroom trip in a bit more detail like what you see hear or feel ect.
I dont know if thats even possible. I mean sure, there are similar feelings shared between us all, but every trip is different and a lot of what is experienced is profound and esoteric, very far from being able to be explained with words
I know everyone trips different but i want to know what some people have felt when tripping. Is this a good mix or a deadly mix or drugs, 3g of shrooms 6pack of budwiser and a 20 sack of weed. That is what i'm thinking of using when i try shrooms...what do you think.
No you will be fine, the beer may hurt your stomach, but its not any more dangerous than it normally would be. But you may be fine, some people can drink on shrooms and others cant. It is pretty pointless though, alcohol makes the trip die down faster. I normally drink after the mushrooms wear off
Really general outline for a first trip: lightness or floating sensation, feelings of heaviness, tracers, seeing crawling patterns on surfaces, giggling, confusion, time dilation, slightly-dream like feeling, possible gastro-intenstinal discomfort, possible body tension (though that is more associated with LSD). Trip with a friend who is also partaking in mushrooms.
Salvia is not crap. But in the end...if you think something will be/is bad...you'll get bad results from it. Salvia can teach you many things and lessons, as can shrooms i suppose- i've never tried them although i'd be interested. I don't know if eagle had a bad experience or not...but i think it's bad advice- Salvia can be used in very positive ways if you go in to the experience in a positive way. If you head in thinking it's crap, you'll come out of it negatively. The thing i like about salvia is the experience is not overwhelmingly long...it's quick- like a dream...so if its bad it's over real soon...and if it's good- smoke some more!
description of mushrooms (for me anyway)... this is something impossible to describe and there are a lot of common aspects i'm leaving out. The first thing that heralds a trip for me is that suddenly colors become much more saturated and I begin to notice details in everything. People often get a fit of giggles at the onset of the trip, maybe some nausea at first. It’s definitely something that you ease into. It descends over you, floating down, engulfing. Suddenly you’ll be sitting there and you’ll realize, wow I’m tripping… oh boy, here it comes. Specifics are impossible to describe but this is generally where the hallucinations start. Intricate patterns are common, like three dimensional Mayan or Aztec designs. Trails behind moving objects too. An increased attention to color and detail persist. You can become lost in patterns or designs, moving images or soundscapes. But hallucinations can come from anything and often in places or forms you wouldn’t expect. As you race towards the peak you find a feeling of ecstasy and wellbeing welling up in your body. You feel comfortable in your skin, like you fit into yourself better then before. Hallucinations are most prevalent and intense in the earlier part of the trips heading towards peak. Also there is a lot of information here. Whether your trip turns inward and is an examination of self or if it is a contemplation of life or the external there is definitely an educational element here. Behind your eyelids alien worlds of beautiful colors and patterns come to life. You also have auditory hallucinations although these are at times harder to distinguish from other sounds. There is generally warmth and ecstasy, learning and understanding, comfort and the dissolution of ego. Time slows or stops altogether; the clock becomes an awkward tool for measuring. You might have to lie down or maybe you'll just cry out of joy. There is a distinct sense of the natural, insights into the nature of man and the planet ect. There is a definite spiritual tinge or at the very least an increased awareness of energies. Its there to the extent you want to look for it / engage it. My advice is to do just that. Its the most rewarding part. As you pass through the peak of the trip and enter the second half there is usually an increased amount of physical energy and mental cognition. Your thoughts are like a river breaking through a damn. They are wide in their scope and deep and sometimes you can barely keep up with them at all. You might dance or sing or just chill out and enjoy the hallucinations but your mind will be trying to process the influences of the past hour and a half – two hours. You feel refreshed more then just physically. A good time to eat something natural or smoke some weed. Maybe do something artistic or creative. The second half of the trip to me is often like a reward for the first, not that the first is bad at all, you just generally have to pay less attention in the second half. Eventually you will come back to earth, to everyday reality. The world you have been lingering in will fade as gently as it first came on. It’s a tiring experience mentally and physically but usually is so rewarding that you’ll feel great despite exhaustion. Then you rest and reflect. Think about the gifts you were given whether beautiful hallucinations or insights. All in all, it’s like nothing else, at least nothing people normally experience in the day to day. It is based in bodily sensation but also feels like you’re plugged into a whole other world laying just a few degrees to one side or the other of normal reality. And the mental end is usually the most rewarding especially after a few days have gone by.
On the comeup, it feels like your eyes open very wide and you feel a bit uncoordinated, sometimes ancy. Then the euphoria, trails, hallucinations, laugher, extreme comfort, and life-changing ideas pile up and just zoom through your mind. Throughout the trip, you feel as if everything you see is something you've seen for the first time. Music hits deep inside you and greatly affects everything going on in your head. In general, mushrooms are great
Salvia sucks. ive taken it alot of times and never tripped, neither has anyone else i know who tried it. i held in the smoke for 30 secends every time and multiple hits but all it does is make me feel imprisoned in samsara. Everyone i know agrees with me in thinking that it just makes you feel weirded out. i have a high tolerance for psychedelics but how come noone else i know trips on it. If you have tripped on it then describe it.
I find it's best with just one other person. Environment is crucial. The best trips are outdoors, whether at the ocean or the forest or desert, it's best if you're as secluded as possible. Each type of outdoor setting has different effects. I recommend eating the shrooms as early in the day as you can, maybe half an hour before sunrise. trust me. You should also drink orange juice with the shrooms, the vitiman c enhances visuals. Keep a journal and pen somewhere safe on you such that you can find it and write in it easily while your a couple dimensions over. Have water and weed and if you end up going somewhere and you're still tripping and don't want to be, drink alcohol or have painkillers. If you end up indoors (other than your room) you might start to feel your trip go sour, but if your experience was vivid enough, the good trip vibe will be with you alway I remember a sweet mush. trip I had in little cottonwood canyon, Utah (alta. snowbird) We frolicked around this giant boulder field that made me feel like a nimble squirrel, spryly mincing among the precipes. bUT my friend was a bear, and he poured himself over the boulders. We went up the mountain to the brand new meltwater from 11,000 feet. Water of Aphrodite. Then we descended through valley trails, upon plants that had variegated colorballs. I felt like I was in The Chocolate Room at willi wonka's factory. Then we went to a trail behind a playground, which looked up at the mountains we were just whisked away from. I realized that all human conciousness, plant, animal, gas, matter; were all essentially one entity in some ineffable way. Not just I feel I'm one with the people of china, I felt one with the galaxies. Then we went to a house party where they were enjoying E. THey gave us a bit, and it was a flavorful way to end the day
^that's probably the perfect dose if you really want to experience them your first time. 2g is good if you don't want too much..and 4g+ is probably too much..so i'd say 3 is perfect.
