Been working on the van all day. 2 new tires (That have somehow managed to 90% cure the weird tracking problem) full compliment of 100% working bulbs and a new set of glowplugs. I did have an air filter too but the idiot game me the wrong size ( he also sold me a glowplug that had clearly been installed and then subsequently removed and returned)

I ended up buying a new set of tools seeing as how I got fucking fed up of hunting for sockets. I went out looking for a socket set but it was a choice of either paying over the odds for cheap shit ones that I would probably break the day I got them, or dropping £100 on a decent set I would hardly ever use, but then I found a red tool-chest full of tools set thingy for £50, so I thought Id get that. It's got a pretty comprehensive set of sockets (including deep ones for pulling your glow plugs out) and a dozen spanners and a bunch of screwdriver bits etc. Not an amazing selection but they don't look like they are about to break at any second so I'm happy for now. I'll just have to see how long before someone thinks they are snap-on and smashes my back window for them.

I quit. The sheer amount of physical labour was too much, so was constantly being on the verge of collapsing. So we're fucked and can't survive.

My dog just died. She was fine earlier this morning but a few hours ago her legs gave out from under her and she was in extreme pain. We had to go to the vet to get her put down.

16 years, that's pretty impressive man. Good on her for getting that far, shame to hear about her passing though.
How long had you had her?

I've had her since I was five. I still can't believe that she's gone.

I finally found an apartment. I am super nervous and having anxiety because I can't take my cat. I use to not like my cat until I was separated from him and now I am a little heartbroken he will have to stay at my moms. Good thing is he is only a 10 minute drive away.

Today I am looking at furniture and decor for my new place. Never had furniture in the 4 years I've lived away from home. Super excited.

Sorry about your dog dftlw. I remember losing a dog we had that long, it is really devastating at times.

dftw, i'm sorry thsi happened. when a dog goes down, that's usually it for them. at least you gave her a good death. it's hard to lose a pet, but just remember all of the good stuff. luckily with pets it's almost all good memories.

today i am teaching 30 second graders about jobs. god help me.

Sorry 'bout the dog dude :( 16 years is an epic age for a dog! She did well :)

Just bought my first set of double-ended knitting needles. And a new stitch holder. I'm making a fish hat for my sister. I want to get some drawing markers but the uni art shop is closed :( Second time in two weeks I wanted to go and it's closed early ><

I just put the heating on in my house for the first time this term and went round all the radiators in the kitchen/bathrooms/lounge and turned them off, saves money! Only got my room one on and the ones in bedrooms upstairs. MMMM heating <3
