I hate the fact that we have to choose a title, and I have no Idea what religion I fall into anyways so I'm reluctant to even do so but I'm tired of explaining my religious belifs to everyone who asks my religious practices,
so what would I be? I say I'm a spiritualist but that's not a true religion so help me out, I meditate, I do yoga I belive in god and jesus as my savior but I also belive in nature magic, I have alot of buddist belifs also, I'm confused what am I??? I'm not pagan , not completely christian, not buddist, what then??????

Perhaps it is. But new agey folk tend to be into an eclectic kind of thing like you describe.

If you say New Age you'll probably have to describe your beliefs anyways, since there's a negetive connotation to New Age as being full of kooks and weirdos, walking around with crystals and casting spells and following astrology. It's not taken very seriously, methinks.

Just say you practice your own spirituality, a fusion of many paths into your own.

You're right - new age often means whacky :)

Maybe you don't need to define things too closely, maybe a label isn't really neccessary. TrippinBTM is probably right - just tell people you follow your own path - which really, is all anyone does.

say that you are a believer in all and nothing

    say you are a wanderer

    say you are a nymph

just let it go and dont worry about other people trying to label your beliefs...just believe in what you do without the name

cool guys I'll do that, I never really cared about lables before when i was younger, people don't question you as much, now that I'm alittle older my beliefs are constantly questioned, so it's harder now, labels just make it alittle easier.

Someone else asked a question very similar to yours. I'm just going to quote the response I gave to them which seemed to help.

"Don't be so eager to label yourself. You are an individual. A free spirit. I don't have a religion either. Like you, I also take what meaningful things I can from religion that I think are important. I choose not to follow or associate myself with any of them though. To constantly question one's ethics about certain ideas and ways of life helps you to grow as a person. If you decide that one way of life or belief is above all others and settle on that then you are not providing yourself with room for growth."

That which has no name, nor form, that which is beyond all words, that pure conciousness that illumines all creatures, all beings, sensient or insentient, that purest and subtlest truth, the one without another, infinite, all pervading, eternal, unchanging reality, that thou art.

    tat tvam asi.
