Anyhoo i finally registered yesterday and i come on here and your asking bout the West Mids!! which is cool cause i live there!! in B'ham to be exact. so where bouts in the west mids are you? I was giving a friend in Canada my address last night but forgot to write England underneath the west midlands, she thought it was a seperate country, like Jersey, a small group of islands just off the coast.

When I was in wales a while ago I was on a bus and this girl was convinced I was from Birmingham because of my accent Christ she then went on to say she thought Coventry was part of Birmingham!?!?....I got quite offended, naturally. But in all seriousness, the Brummy accent could be called a thing of beauty. I mean UB40 are easy enough on the ears are they not!? And Jasper Carrott...Well I could listen to him all day (or at least until I got so depressed I'd blow my brains out with a shotgun)
Jasper Carrott is fab!! his songs, his stand-up, even the detectives was good. but i hated that awful programme he did recently with the women from goodness gracious me, that was embarassing!! and waay to politically correct , the poor kid in the wheel chair! But i'm still proud he's for brummieland. The Brummie's are gonna get'cha!!!! You'll all be talking like us soon enough, mmwwahhh haaa haaa!!!
Yeah, Jasper Carrot used to be good, but his stand up was always far too scripted. Anybody who isn't from the midlands thinks that I'm a brummie.
