?. When i had my long hair and was about 2 months into the neglect process, i actually found a dead bait fish in my hair 2 days after taking my boat out swimming/fishing in the ocean. Was nasty and smelly. whats the weirdest thing you have found in your hair, or even just kept as decoration or souviner?

One of my friends used to put anything in or around his dreads. Nuts bolts shells, strings, soda can tabs.... everything except an actual bead lol.

feather seem to pop out often. pencils and spliffs are also quite common.
wierdest? chess pieces and condoms, still in their wrapper of course.

lol i love your list soaring eagle!
and lol at bait fish hahaha

i cant remember all the things ive found so far. a few pairs of earrings, hay, lots of feather from pillows and duvets, lots of bits of trees, grass, sticks and moss... oh and staples- my brother thought it would be funny to empty a stapler into my hair when i wasnt looking. i was finding them for weeks. im sure theres plenty of other things that arnt coming to me right now.
i really want to get my nape pierced but i know my dreads would just eat the jewellery lol

my dreads love to eat earring backs. i've lost i don't know how many pairs of studs since i put them in.

fuzzies and strings from my flannel sheets.

    my lover's blonde curly hair.

rubber bands (i use them on occasional root areas or tips when having trouble with them)

    itsy bitsy shreds of paper.

that's about all i can think of for now. as they get longer i know it'll be more stuff! especially over the summer when i'm out of doors more often!

lol... soaring eagle... i love that your locks eat car keys... that just had me laughing hysterically!

You really found a praying mantis up in those locks?

I had a mantis entity approach me a few months ago in a vision.

    They are extremely wise creatures.

hahaha, stalk i tease my lover about "mantis vision" all the time. ok... the story.

one morning, shortly after we moved in together, we woke up and he looks at me and says "we have a visitor" with this huge grin on his face. now keep in mind, he has perfect eyesight, i am blind as a motherfucking bat. he says "look there, on the covers, we have a mantis visitor.

then he procedes to say "hello mantis friend," and start talking to this mantis. i, blind without my glasses, look over and scream "that's not a mantis you dipshit, that's a cockroach!" and so it was, a huge ass cockroach, sitting on top of our covers.

but metaphorically/metaphysically, it was really interesting, because he is an eternal optimist and always sees the best in everyone and every situation... he sees a mantis rather than the outward "reality" of the cockroach.

anyways... that whole mantis topic brought that up in my mind and i thought i would share it! :)

I haven't really found anything weird in my dreads. Just bits of grass and some of my dogs hairs become part of my dreads.

Many people meet them in ayahuasca visions
    I have not.

they are indeed. the residential home i work at currently has a roach infestation... it has been interesting for me to see them on a daily basis, (and i'm supposed to kill them [IMG] i hate doing that) and try to feel what it is their main purpose is on earth. they creep me out too lol! they grow extraordinarily fast. one day all i'll see is itsy bitsy ones, and the next day they'll all be huge ass momma jammas. anywho... they're weird creepy bugs, but i still don't like to kill them.
