My Certified Nurses assistant caught a neighbor digging in my garbage. He has called and complained to my landlord if our garbage overflows or if a wild animal dumps it out. Maybe he has been the one dumping it out lol. He is an old married guy with a nice house across the alley that he owns and a garden. He told the CNA he was looking for his wifes purse that got snatched but I have trouble believing him after all the trouble he has tried to cause for us. Which started when a dark skinned family moved in next door in our townhouse. He never harassed us until they moved in. He dug in their garbage too. He harasses them also and the poor woman next door is dealing with her teen sons death this year. She really does not need this weird guy calling the landlord and filing complaints with the city council. How would you deal with someone like him?
make sure the garbage is extra disgusting and shred any paperwork even useless stuff...it will make him think you have lots of important stuff to hide
I would ask him directly why he was in the garbage bin. Mention that there has been an issue with garbage being strewn about and could he make sure it is secure when he is done. It might just put him enough on the spot that it stops.
I'd definitely offer some advice, but if you don't do a good enough job hiding the body, you'll probably end up in jail
sprinkle food coloring in the bags before you secure the top. his hands will be stained for days. i suggest red then you can catch him red handed Lol for real, do this.
Lol!!! Best advice! I will do that! :sunny: Most of our garbage is disgusting stuff like cat litter, dog shit, shredded paper, and cartridges full of crud from my wound vacuum. He was confronted and asked by my CNA. I have been to ill to leave the house because of a open wound healing from the inside out.
if you really dislike the guy, there's always mousetraps, bear traps, razorblades, dirty needles, etc. you could also take pictures of him dumpster diving and post them up around town.
A Few Years Ago When An Early Walker Was Stealing My Newspaper I Got An Old Paper,Put Flour Between All The Pages, Rolled It Up, And Put An Elastic Band Around It.... Next Morning It Wasn't Too Hard To Find The Culprit, Just Follow The Trail Of Flour And Lo And Behold I Discovered A Guy Wearing What Used To Be A Dark Blue Track Suit.... Never Lost Another Paper...:2thumbsup:. Cheers Glen.
Put a bunch of pictures of Pressed Rat from 3 years ago in the garbage, and when he starts rummaging through the trash he'll be scared off by the guy that busts out of the bushes screaming "DON'T LOOK AT THOSE DAMN YOU! I LOST WEIGHT! ARRRRGGG" Should scare him off.
O M G :ack2: I do wonder what his garbage obsession is? He is not a hobo. He is a republican with the 10 commandments in his yard. If he was a hobo I would be wrapping up food leftovers for him :daisy:
There was an 11th Commandment "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's garbage" but Moses dropped it on the way down from the mountain.
Hmmm...Maybe he's looking for compost material for his garden, which he could ask you to bag separately for him. I'd tell him that your trash can contains medical waste that could contaminate him. He sounds like he is off his rocker.
She seems lucky if you ask me. People around here still have "Mcain, Palin 2008" signs in their front yards.
It is winter and he is not the sort to compost. It does contain medical waste. The nurse throws containers away in my garbage that contain the stuff the wound vac sucks out of my open wound. It is sealed very tight though. It would just give him something else to complain to the city council. I was shocked when my nurse tossed them in the garbage because I have to send all my diabetes lancets to the toxic waste facility. Her reasoning was it is contained well and safe to dispose of but she was not thinking of people who dig in garbage.
No, it was an large abscess that contained e coli from a hernia leaking into my stomach lining. When this heals they will be repairing the hernia before it kills my intestine and since I had 2 panniculitis infections at the same time I got the two abscesses they will be giving me a tummy tuck called a panniculectomy along with the hernia repair. In order to prevent another outbreak of panniculitis. I had the first outbreak in Autumn and the second in December. It took going to a second hospital in order to find a Doctor who could figure out the hernia was causing the problem on top of the diabetes slowing down the healing process. It was what led me to posting in this forum because I am stuck at home and can't go anywhere while I am healing.
