Weed in Mexico

Going to Mexico in a couple weeks, is there any safe way to buy bud? I've heard some horror stories of people buying from undercovers and getting locked up for months.

If not, its not a big deal. I just thought I'd see if anyone has any experiences with this.

 

I would be very careful. You do not wanna get locked up in jail, let alone a mexican one. They will kill you.
If you MUST get weed there, i would look for another american to buy from.

 

can you go without? I rather be safe then sorry, but that's just me

 

I absolutely can and intend too. I just figured I'd see if the general opinion was the same as mine.

 

edit: MAIL YERSELF SOEM!! you seem to have missed my message earlier. take a full peanut butter jar, remove some peanut butter, then stick your bag of weed in the peanut butter then cover it up with peanut butter. close the top to the peanut butter jar and smooth off the peanut butter on the top of the peanut butter so if they open your peanut butter theyll say "hey, ther's no drugs in here, its just PEANUT BUTTER!" then mail a package containing your jar of peanut butter and illicit drugs down to meh-hico so you can just go get your mail and be like "YUZ WEED!" instead of trying to score some ganj off a guy named victor lopez and end up dead.

Yeah, the Mexican police are notorious for looking for tourists to lock up on petty charges so that they can hold them for ransom. Legalized kidnapping.

 

I have an older friend who was in Mexico before the cartel war really got going. But without even speaking the language he got some bud. A trash bag full of dirty brick weed for pennys on the dollar, I do not think you would even get any other kind.

But for you to be buying any drug, down there pretty much guarantees you are supporting a cartel, the only people in that business at any level in that country is them. And like otehrs have said the Mexican police WILL fuck with you.

 

I wouldn't risk it.

I was just there over this winter break, and although I didn't actually try to buy weed, I think you will have problems managing in a touristy area and outside one.

It seems to me that you would be able to find shitty bud sold by shitty dealers in most touristy areas, but like others have said, you will most likely have problems with police - especially where there are lots of tourists and people looking to make a buck off of the tourists.

On the other hand, you might be able to find someone who could hook you up with good bud around the countryside and such, but unless you are able to speak Spanish fluently I wouldn't try to go off and conduct drug deals with strangers who you can't even negotiate with. Even in Mexico City I had problems finding people who could speak English.

 

I remember going to mexico once, about a year ago. We stayed on one of those 5 star fancy resorts, and so i thought mexico was the best place ever lol and it was the only part of mexico i ever saw so i thought all of mexico was like this

until the last day of our vacation, we decided to go out of the resort and into town... it was then i realized, mexico is the shittiest freakiest place ever. Cops riding around on ATV's holding machine guns, little broken down mexican buildings, mexican gang graffiti, stray animals and garbage everywhere.

And we were driving through this place in the back of some mexican "taxi" (it was a big white van... lol) then they dropped us off in this "shopping district" place, filled with a bunch of tourists like us. It was like one straight road, with endless amounts of shops on each side, each filled with mexicans trying to lure you in

then me and my cousin got lured off of the main road, at night. And couldn't find our way back for almost an hour, our "taxi" almost left without us lol

 

are you flying? just bag up a gram or so and put it up your butthole..

 

i personally would have no problem at all getting weed in mexico without getting popped....but that is me....i am exceptional at supplying my own drug habit....

In Cancun I bought some good weed from a guy selling sea shells by the sea shore. He had normal sea shells, and special sea shells with 1/4 bags inside. Still have the sea shell...

Also bought some weed from a taxi driver, and some blow from a valet guy and from a maid.

Thats just me. I'm sure Cancun is different than other areas....and I'd never buy from a random person. Only from people who are on the job, preferably looking for a big tip from me....

 

no....but know there is lots of drugs there...i have family that have lived there..my nephew was there 2 weeks ago....he too is a pussy and wouldnt try to buy dope...i'm jusst saying that i without a doubt would be trying to buy dope in the taxi from the airport or off the concierge....with no hesitation what so ever

I'd just bring some with me, i can't imagine it being to difficult to get threw the airport. Not a lot, just enough...

But maybe that's just Canadian airports, i've never even been to the states lol

 

OK I'm from Mexico, its just like Lovin said... No big deal, just ask a cabbie, waiter, guy on the beach selling something. They know who sells, they'll go get it for you.

 

Just out of curiosity, if you actually just filled up a little pill jar or something with a little bit of weed, and just stuffed it right in the middle of your suit case, would anyone honestly find that at an airport? Like, how do they check for that kind of thing..?

 

When my passport is scanned in customs, a red flag pops up that says I've had Possession charges (6). That grants me an "extensive search" where every item is pulled out of my bag and thoroughly investigated. Then a man takes me into a small room and slides his hands down my pants....front and back....glove touching taint. That is the price I have to pay to fly out of the country, at least till I can afford to get my record expunged. Gotta love the good ol TSA! They have the right to give the "extensive search" to anyone they see fit, and there are certain things that automatically put you in that list. It said so in the packet they gave me after the officer groped my balls.

Needless to say, there is no chance in hell I'm gonna bring anything on an international flight. Flying domestic isn't as bad, but they have gone through my luggage a few times.

 

Damn, that would suck.

What if you just put a little bit of weed in your shoe? Like underneath the sole of it or whatever. I've only been on a plane twice, to and from mexico. And they never really searched much, all i had to do was empty my pockets... I have no clue what went on with my suit case though, that was out of my sight... But i did have a travel on bag, which was my backpack and they didn't search that at all... it went threw a scanner, but i'm assuming that wouldn't be able to pick up any weed?
