If a cop pulls you over and there is weed in the car would the passengers get in trouble or just the driver?
i think you're only guilty by association if a crime is currently being committed. whoever possessed the marijuana would be the only one to be arrested (i think).
yea whoever has it, i got pulled over about 2 months ago, we had just finished smokin a bowl and we all got searched my friend had an eighth on him and got arrested nothing happened to me even tho i was driving.
I assume you mean that you have weed stashed somewhere, not just on some one's person. If it's stashed underneath the passenger side seat then the passenger can be charged (it's a pretty tenebale case at best, and a good lawyer could get them off), otherwise it's the driver's...
im pretty sure (also depending on different state laws..) that if the bud is found in the car, not in someones pocket but just laying around in the car, then it is the driver/owner of the car who gets arrested
