Weed consumption?

I want to know how much you guys smoke per weekly? I was talking to this guy i know who lives in SA and smokes and i was telling him what i did today cause he really wanted to know, i only smoked 2 g's yesterday and he thought that was a lot for just an everyday type of thing. I mean, i smoke pretty much everyday. Typically a gram before school occasionally and 1 or 2 after, unless i meet up with my boy and we match, then thats like an 1/8th. But the weekends are a different story. I'd probably say i smoke at least an 1/8th Friday,Saturday, and 1.5ish Sunday.

Is that bad?

well there are two of us smoking here, we pretty much stay baked from 5 am to bed on the weekends and smoke every evening from 3 pm or so on..

keeping a good head, and we go through about a ounce every 3 weeks,so a bit over a quarter a week.

so to answer your question yes its much more than ya need to keep a good head on if your weeds worth a shit..

That's way too much weed man. You guys stay stoned from 5am to bedtime on the weekends? That is nuts..

 

I smoke smoke two bong packs a night, but usually save the second bowl for part of the next day. An eighth usually lasts me 2 weeks.

 

Right now im trying to cut back during finals so about a 2-3 grams a week (im only smoking on weekends). Normally right around a half oz. every three weeks, which is preatty much the same as hillbillyhippie. But I usually just smoke mids.

 

An 8th will last me a couple days if I'm not overdoing it. I usually stretch an 8th to last me a week though. I could easily smoke a quarter a week, but I don't want to spend all my money every week on weed.

 

lol... well ya see,, saturday mornings we go take care of the town shit as soon as everything opens.. we gotta be baked for that shit,an then well ya know how it is,once yer stoned,,might as well stay stoned..

sundays,,,well what else ya gonna do at 5 am on a sunday mornin? dont even get daylight till almost 8...

aint like we aint productive on the weekends,we still do what we need to do,just take a lotta smoke breaks..

durin the week,,i leave the house at 10 till 5,when i get home,yeah im smokin an chillin..im a slack ass in the evenins durin the week,but hey,i can afford to be...

i dont think its that much between 2 people. it was less when i was drinking,but you can only smoke so much weed when your suckin down beers like water..

even if it is,all in all, i think my sobriety is worth us goin through a little more weed...

 

thats all we smoke is mids,, ive smoked plenty 100 dollar a quarter weed,and in the end it just aint worth the price IMO..

 

Well I guess I can see your point. Especially since it's between the two of you.. I can't stay stoned all day long cause of my daughter, but that's probably a good thing.

 

About 10 grams a week between my wife and I. It's really a scale of economics that sets that as the amount since we would probably smoke twice that if we were the growers, or weed cost half as much. So I smoke in the AM and after I'm done with work during the week and stay high all day saturday and sunday. So that runs say around $110 a week ($80 quarters in these parts) or over $5,700 a year for weed. Well probably more like $7000 a year since we treat ourselves after a big week with a lot of over time or when us Alaskans get our annual oil dividend check from the state. Hmmm...we spend more on herb that we do on our 20 y/os university tuition and books. How's that for priorities?

 

How much is that oil check by the way? My mom was born in alaska, but I think you had to of lived there for some period or time, or still live there to get that money right?

 

Generally about 4 or 5 grams a week. Pretty strong weed. If I'd only smoke on my own I would probably smoke around 2 or 3, but we like to share and toke eachother up, mainly in the weekends.

 

Gotta live here for a full year and prove in some way that you really are a permanant resident like register to vote, have a job, drivers license etc. The amount varies from year to year based on the funds earning in the stock market. We got $1600 each last year (in oct) and more is expected this year. I'v seen it as high as $2000 and as low as $800.

 

oh i agree with the economics of it all, although i still wouldnt smoke before work,my days are just not set up for that,way to much driving before i actually get busy. but i know dilli would smoke all day if she could everyday,and we would stay a little higher when we were smokin so yeah costs do factor in to how much we smoke.

that bein said,, holy shit if i had alaskans weed budget we could be baked 24/7 bein we pay 125 a OZ..

 

i used to smoke one joint everyday before goin to bed during the week and a couple more in the weekends.

atm the coffeeshops (netherlands) in my town are closed and i don't feel like going to another city everey week just for pot, so atm i'm out of pot, not smoking at all and if i buy some, most of the time i buy it on a friday and by the end of the weekend its gone, so i have no pot left to smoke before i'm goin to sleep. bummer, but on the other hand, it was getting kinda boring so i'm cool with it in a way...

 

I can only dream of $125 ounces. Things cost more up here and we make more.

It's legal to grow and have one ounce buy state law (used to be four oz), but federal law is another thing. It generally pretty safe to do on a small scale. We have done it before and have it in the plans to do so again - soon. Our 18 y/o son gave us the run a round for a couple of years there and I worried about his discretion as much as anything. I was worried that he would say something like "Dude, my dad grows the killer weed. Check out this bud that I pinched from him." Well that's the last thing I needed was a bunch of teenage trouble makers knowing I had a weed scene.

 

not too much during the school year. maybe like an 1/8th every two weeks. but like a quarter of some fire buds a week in the summer due to my ill job that i've had for several years and not much responsibility. most definately less than a 1000 dollars.[edit: a year]
