Its been about a 100 % in Southern California the past week and today its all of a sudden pouring rain with thunder claps. Weather is trippy!

I know at least six people who say they had water in their basement yesterday afternoon. One of them said the last time water came in was during tropical storm David back in 1979. Most of the other ones said Floyd or Isabel flooded their basement. The heaviest rain did not start falling here until last night though so there are probably a lot more people wielding mops right about now.
This whole week was wet and cloudy. Today is the first day we have had sun and it is nice to see it back.

79* and sunny here with a nice breeze and no humidity. just went for a swim in the 82* ocean and cooked out some food. this is one of best times of the year in Florida.
