there was some mad gay porn in there. also fat porn with this huge chick eating cookie dough off a guys dick.

also lesbian porn, mainstream porn, interviews with industry icons, scenes of preparations and filming, and so on. it was actually of educational merit in regards to the class, but it was entertaining as well. it put the "dick" in ri-dick-youlls-ous

it illustrated, in more ways than one, how the american sex industry shows inverted social stratification in regards to gender than the rest of the industries in the us, dealt with interrelationships between people involved in the industry (love, dating, marriage, etc.), and so on. it was cool.

yeah, its a 300-level sociology class dealing with sexual diversity. the other section number for the class, taught by a different professor, isn't as graphic in its instruction, but it's all dealt with academically and matter-of-factly and really isn't like people are watching it jacking off in class or anything lol

IU has a reputation as one of the best universities in the US in terms of sex research, going back to the 40's when IU's own professor kinsey revolutionized both the study of sex as a subject of academic value and how american culture thought about and dealt with matters of sexuality. my professor worked with the kinsey institute for a while, and has done some interesting sociological research on sex as well.

 

what is your goal in school?

Interesting. I can't wait to get to some 300 level classes myself

 

i'm currently majoring in sociology and minoring in psychology, but wish to flip that and major in psych and minor in soc. i'd like to go to graduate school, and end up in research, and perhaps teaching.

my primary area of interest is in states of consciousness, but sex is fascinating as well.

 

You sound very much like myself. I'll be majoring in psych as well. However, I want to be a college professor and teach it to the kids. Give them tools to get past their drama and really be able to be mindful and aware.

Teaching sounds cool, as long as you're teaching at a higher level than compulsory education. People have no respect, it's why I didn't want my mum to be a teacher (she's not).

 

yeah, i wouldnt want to teach at the elementary, middle, or high school levels.

the students examined samples of urine.........produced by said students? did you have to examine your own, or that of a classmate? this is an odd idea to me....i'm just curious about what all was involved with this, and what you may have learned today, in a totaly not-sick/pervy way :cheers2:

 

i was in college. it was still kind of akward. my ex was travelling, i was really horny and disgustingly loyal.
