Friends only care when you have money . very few care when your out. i learn this the hard way.

Man what type of people have you hung around with? Their assholes if thats what their like. Trust me there are some really cool people out there! There just really hard to find.

I don't do a whole lot with my friends...I do the obligatory party or clubbing when i feel out of the loop or like people are getting annoyed with me for being a hermit but since I got sick and can't really drink and can't smoke or do coke because of work i feel like left behind when I go out...I'm feeling better though so hopefully soon I'll get my groove back...I'm going out next weekend for drinks and then march 30th for a concert so yeah...hopefully I won't be anti-social anymore as I really do miss my friends and if I don't get out there I'm going to lose them like I did last year when i was anti-social.
Why do you guys have a hard time making friends? Don't you live in arcadia? People are cool as hell up there.

 

Sounds like we have similar problems! We really have no friends either, except for two dogs! I can't drink, smoke, or do drugs because of work as well. So, that has been sort of a problem with trying to meet friends, especially when you're in your late 20's. A lot of our friends like to go out and drink, smoke, and do drugs....and when you're not doing it, it's just a strange feeling....which I'm sure you can relate to.

It also sounds like you're afraid that if you don't go out to bars and do drugs with them, then you'll loose them. Ask yourself this...how good of friends are they if they can't accept you for who you are?

My suggestion, get a dog or two. ;-) They will keep you busy enough and give you all the love in the world. Also, check out www.meetup.com. I've never gone to a meetup before, but we're on there and it sounds like it's really cool. You can meet people with similar interests as you in your area.

We Don't live in arcadia, but rather sacramento.
When honeyhannah goes home for a month or so to visit in the east I will maybe go back to humboldt county with my sleeping bag and do some spiritual questing in the forest!
One of my interests right now is finding new cleanses for wild living based off eating wild greens.

Where is sacramento? Try moving to England, were all very friendly here.

 

People tend to be friendly in sacramento, too. Bonded friends, though, have similarities in spirit and purpose.
