we got a kitten

my girlfriend and i, that is. we adopted him today pretty spontaneously. they let us take him right then, and we had to stop on the way back to get a litter box and food. i didn't really want a cat, but he's pretty sweet.

meet Murray. he's a little over 3 months old. his birthday is 3/11 (my favorite band)
better pictures will be possible with daylight.

 

I shall prepare the altar.
Also that is one big ass kitten.

i'm not a HUGE cat person either man, but some cats simply kick ass...cats can be great buddies when stoned or tripping...the whole laser lights and crazy looking toys fascinations they have

yea, i thought he was kinda big too. but the paper work says he's about 3 months old is all. i wonder how big he'll get. he's probably some fuckin mountain lion mix and gonna be 60 pounds

he's passed out on the chair, cuz he's been goin nuts all night, chasing shoestrings and various electronics chords, as well as his own tail! i never saw a cat do that. he pissed in the litter box first time which is nice. and my landlord doesn't know about it - if they did it'd be $200 security deposit +$20 rent each month. it's a huge complex, not one apt.

i can't wait to trip with him! one week.

he's probably going through withdraw from that catnip. they had him on that at the store we got him from. i don't plan on getting him high on weed, although i am smoking a bong right next to him as i type this...i'm not gonna blow it in his face. i did that mean stuff when i was a kid

 

He looks like the cat I had when I was little. Very cute!

I love cats, and can't wait to get one again.

I have recently opened my life to kittens and kitten related things. :cheers2: they can be pretty awesome. bad experience with childhood cat which was crazy.

un-neutered female cat that lived inside our furniture and would only come out to eat, drink, toilet, wail loudly at the moon, and scratch you to bits if you tried approaching. Had to give her away eventually, she was getting dangerously territorial and more of a hazard than a pet.
