I saw that www.werenotafraid.com website earlier ... I can't be doing with the jingoistic "we survived the blitz" stuff though ... I'll carry on as normal 'cos I haven't got any other choice right now.

So I did this in photoshop to show some reality. Maybe I was being a bit crass ... but I am fucking scared and also fucking angry at the system that has allowed this to happen.

There's nothing jingoistic about showing that we're not afraid though. I do agree with you also, there's bound to be a little chauvanistic patriotism developing in the mainstream, but its ok to show a little courage.

Edit- sorry to sound so audacious man, i suppose it's easy for me to act belligerent when i live so far away from it all. In reality i just want peace.

 

We've do it just today, maybe one of these days we were with our pic on this blog. Is a nice blog and it has behind a really nice idea, even if obviously I don't think persons like terrorists will be impressioned by a blog...

well the coverage of the aftermath of the recent attack makes me sick the government are basically lieing to people, so are the media.

they dont seem to have a clue about the different groups and what their agendas are

omar bakri is still walking around free he was openly recruiting british suicide bombers last year, he supported beslan and that kind of attack here

ken livingston (lord mayor of london) was practically crying about the attack on the news, when he has been praising one of the worlds top jihadists as being progressive and inviting him to tea recently .


its a shambles, Im not afraid but I dont think at present the people in charge have any idea what they are doing .

sacking ken livingston would be a good start , be more picky with the groups we allow to operate here, and the ones we take as spokemen for the islamic community.

Arrest omar bakri close down his websites, his party, arrest members of his party .

we have a number of really dangerous radical groups who operate legally in this country close them down .

most likely they will operate undercover but its better than them being able to have open meetings with 500+ people where they get ready for suicide attacks .
