I started reading it and so am determined to finish it! (Eventually)

Anyone here actually read the whole thing?

What where ur opinions on it?

I'm only on chapter 15 but I quite like it...just wonderin if it remains at the same standard the whole way through....?

I thought is was a damn good book. It's very interesting how he actually feels that his book is how history should be written even though much of it is fiction...he thought that he could actually get closer towards uncovering the truth by writing as he did. Prince Andrei I think has one of the best transitions of any character in any novel, plus some of the best dialogues I've read as well (I'm a sap for philosophy...).

I'd say stick with it, I don't think you'll be disappointed....

i don't think i have the attention span for that kind of book. a friend of mine's mom read it a while back and it took her 9 years (no joke). she had to keep a list of all the characters in a notebook so she could remember who was who. apparently there's a lot of people in it.

9 years?! Holy cow! Ive heard the hardest part is getting through the first few chapters and then it gradually absorbs you...
