    Wanderlust?
    _________________

This morning at 8 am I was just clearing out the kitchen cupboard food worktops and cupboards ready for dome work as the heating boiler has to be replaced.

I finished clearing the cupboard shelves in front of the heating water inlet valve to make accessible and then it struck me!.....With the contents of the kitchen cupboard stacked neatly on the reception room floor I felt it!
Im a traveller and my culture is travel so when ever I start to pack household items I get the burning instinct, and burning desire, to hit the road and not come back.

Im living where I am and doing work contracts for the money until 2034 (August). Then I finally will hit the road again and Im doing the same again with another arranged ten years worth of work contracts at the next location!

Wanderlust is some terrible thing I guess!

Some were born with it [IMG]

You're lucky to be able to live and work in different places for years. I've done the same. Judging by your choice of words it would seem you're probably British?

Nice tune too! The words are right on, fellow traveler!

Glad you liked the song...It's really a tribute to the blues music of J J Cale (died 23rd July 2013). So I did the song in his style though I started off on blues guitar so its my sort of thing. Even all these years later J. J.'s Album Shades is one of my favourites to be honest

I know what you mean ! I can do American English and British English usually; but sometimes I end up a traveller in North America and a traveler in the UK..I guess I sometimes haven't a clue where I am ;)

My engineer grandfather's family were half USA and half Uk as his brother was a North American businessman. I've also lived in Hazard, Nebraska, USA. when I was too small to know any better.....but hey also in Rabat of Morocco as well
so who knows what I am; I don't for sure! ;)
