Big Brother using food to fuel the campaign.

On November 4th you get a free cup of coffee at starbucks if you tell them you voted...

Then find a ben and jerrys and tell them for a free scoop!

hm. And the republican committee of michigan tried filing a law suit against micheal moore for giving out free clean underwear in order to get youth to register and vote.

i dont really support starbucks anyway. free coffee or not.

Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's are Big Brother? And why would BB offer freebies to someone who voted for, say, Vermin Love Supreme? I don't follow your reasoning. Well, maybe I can see Starbucks.

Shouldn't this be in the politics forum?

:confused:From the Slavery is Freedom Kitchen? Rainbow is part of some 1984 conspiracy? The only food at a gathering is sugar & coffee?

    I don't get your point.

I also don't see where this fits in the Rainbow forum, especially since I know plenty of Fam who do not do coffee or white sugar...I don't drink coffee at Gatherings and I don't drink Starbucks ever, free or not; I feel it's a preditory business.

And I thought the Death Camp went off in an odd direction...

Things might get real strange around here soon.

This post referred to a comment from ANON, since deleted...But strangeness happens, with or without ANON.

Rainbow is free, but are all free things Rainbow? I don't think it's reciprocal.

I think that some of you know that I'm a combat vet, and if people could be soo silly to vote Obama because of his skin color & not the issues ; Well then ,does that give me the right to vote for McCain because he was a vet. (and did a pretty tough tour or two if ya know what I mean)- - No it doesn't I have more sense than that.

I wrote in my choice (it is a secret ballot)
    BTW-'
iM A DUNKIN DONUTS guy- thanks anyway- :)

    jack- :hat:
-who wants out of Iraq, more than you know.- & at 58 Im watching my retirement go up in flames. So I hope all you younger folks who jumped on the Obama wagan put the right guy in- At the very least I hope HE puts the right people in to guide him. In the end ,its more about the administration than the President himself.

Once upon a time, you'd get a beer for voting. Infact, it was the only way to get a drink on an election day.

    Nothing new here.
