Anyone else ever get this regularly? Visual snow is a transitory or persisting visual symptom where people see snow or television-like static in parts or the whole of their visual fields, especially against dark backgrounds. It is much like camera noise in low light conditions. Or maybe this? The blue field entoptic phenomenon or Scheerer's phenomenon is the appearance of tiny bright dots moving quickly along squiggly lines in the visual field, especially when looking into bright blue light (such as the sky).[1] This is a normal effect that can be perceived by almost everybody. The dots are due to the white blood cells that move in the capillaries in front of the retina of the eye, near the macula.[2] I have a bit of both almost daily. Just curious. Peace
No but I see what appears to be the outline of an annelid within the fluids of the retina - clear and segmented Hotwater
Haha That's funny. Someone here was worrying too much about that occurrence. Obviously she just hasn't been aware of it. We all told her it was normal, but I didn't know they had an actual term and explanation for it.
depends on the background. There a few heavy wigglies I see sometimes I know are blood.. Ive been interested in Entoptic phenomena for a long time, many people dismiss the fact that eye problems can be fixed internally as opposed to glasses. burrberry, carrots, lsa, even aspirin effect the visual cortex.. Migraine headaches can be prevented by training the eyes, Or with drugs to make the eyes open up. There is some faith involved there like seeing a 3d picture that others cant see.. Being a species that wants others to see what you see, well Im to high to get into this atm.. I think my over all interest in lsa and lsd is that it effects the vision and can make you see better, not saying to taking them to hallucinate , threshold doses can have an impact on the vividness and overall clarity with perceptions.. Even the components in chloroform will remarkable enhance vision,, much like astma medications open up airways, where it may be oxygen and related as every living organismic needs to process oxygen to survive and propell forward, as a gas mixtue in a car the wrong can the machine dont propell forward, maybe distracted by things on the windshield, drugs could better the windshield internally, Instead of having on glasses, man has always wanted better vision, but its a vain attempt to correct it, when it constantly changes..
I've had it since I was a kid. Interestingly, it went away completely while I was on SSRI meds, but now that I'm off it's back... especially if I look up at a sunny blue sky... but, oh yeah, you already said that...
its your world if you open your eyes to it... psychiatry is using bad medicine to narrow the fields of vision.. To much going on in the world and many people dont know what to look at.. Sit for a moment with Tv set on, look in one spot in the set- where the dot in the middle used to be, Tv sets dont do this no more/... now try looking at just the top the set. and then the sides. Do this til you cant be distracted with the moving picture. Cause really the picture isnt moving . you are..
I have a squiggly line that moves when I try to look at it. Like the one Stewie Griffin talks about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QRCrZP5BS4"]YouTube- Squiggly line
I have both. I have visual snow constantly, but I only get the blue field entoptic phenomenon when I'm really tired. I used to not have either, but I had an accident... I don't wanna go into detail, but let's just say that I try not to use microwaves anymore. They will fuck your shit up.
-I'm a guy. -I'm not worried about it. -I've never spoken to you before period, nor have I spoken to anyone else on HF's about visual static. -You are mistaken about who you speak of.
That's pretty far out, and very cool to ponder over. Care to expound that idea for the sake of a good conversation, or sharing an idea in general?
