I have a pair of the Vibram FiveFingers KSO, and they are unbelievable. I can't even describe how they feel. Pure joy. I will never wear a pair of regular shoes again. We were born barefoot. Anyone else have a pair?
Just A Reminder "Hairylegs", This Is Where All The Dready People Come To Post, Methinks You Meant To Post In The "Barefoot" Forum. To Me These Shoes Are Akin To "Wax Dreads"..... Why Be A Fake, When It Is So Easy To Do It The "Natural Way".... And Yes, Before You Respond, I Am A Full Time Barefooter...... Cheers Glen.
I've seen Enayes about in the forum before... perhaps they have dreads. I find this thread slightly off topic, but personally interesting. Would be much more off topic in the barefoot forum though...
That's awesome that your a barefooter, I'm working my way there and using these to gain strength in my feet. There a great way to transition from regular running shoes to barefoot running. I see your point with the comparison to "wax" dreads, lol Hopefully we can look past it, I am all for natural.
I was on this forum quite a bit a year or two ago. I was going for natural dreads, I cut after about 8 months of washing with bronners. I had 4-5 that formed, and I am thinking about trying again. My hair was pretty short during my last attempt, prob 3-6 inches during. And its about 3 inches now.
Lol I remember Enayes in a basketball forum making topics about natural dreads and how its the only way to go and not cut Then he cut like 3 months later either way those shoes would suck if you walked on anything but grass and tile
even if this is a totally off topic thread, those shoes look awesome and I'm super tempted to get some now
These shoes are really comfortable, I would recommend trying them on in a store first because it is really important to get the right size. You feel like your barefoot and you don't have to worry about hurting your feet, or getting kicked out of public places. I love these shoes.
HAHA I felt bad for cutting cause there were a few posters pulling for me lol oh well, I don't regret it and I still wanted dreads right after I cut, but I just felt like cutting, idk As for the shoes I go running on the road all the time in them, your feet will get sore at first and I only run 1-3 miles at a time in them, but people run marathons barefoot, so there fine
No high tops yet, I have played basketball in them and I had mixed feelings about them. My soles would get really sore from the constant jumping/rebounding on the gym floor, but I felt pretty quick in them. But I still wear basketball shoes when I play.
While the two are not mutually exclusive, from what I can tell *YOU* think it's spam and *I* think it's interesting... Just because you wish you were me doesn't mean you gotta try to post for me
