Vancouver anyone?

Hello!
Me and my friend decided on a whim that we would drive to Vancouver, BC this weekend to check out the BCMP Vapor Lounge up there...but other than that we're just two stoners with no plans. Any suggestions?

 

well if you are 19 you can check out the amsterdam cafe as well. thats pretty cool. also, you could go to stanley park. its really pretty. when was there my friends and i just walked around. we found a lot of cool shops and many neat people to talk to. i hope that helps a little

Also check out some of those mountain gondola tour things i went on one of those in vancouver and it was so awesome, amazing views of the mountains for 10 bucks... Best part about it is its about a 10 min drive from the actually city center of vancouver as alot of mountains are situated right around the city its pretty neat. The only thing is dont treat vancouver like amsterdam you still have to hide weed usage from cops, its still illegal and such, dont make the same mistake my freind did lol

 

The gondola sounds amazing! I will definatly look into that!

How do you guys think we should go about finding bud when we're there?

 

Yeah that would be like a 35 hour drive for me. I wish I could go as well. Don't have the time or the money but it sounds like fun. Have fun and happy hunting.

 

The usual way I would presume, find someone who looks like a pothead and talk to them.

 

Shouldnt be too much of a problem... Find a vaporizer cafe if possible and theres always bud being passed around there... If you cant find one of the many potheads you'll see hammering joints... Theres always pot, families have been doing it for generations there like a business and then all the other drugs coming in from the coast you should have no problem

 

It's a step away from being legalized there. You can smoke indoors at a few designated locations and out on the street without too much trouble.


Just don't get caught with it on the way back to the states!

 

yeah just talk to someone outside on the street. we just asked around... a couple people, and we found bud right away.
just dont try to bring it back across the border

Grouse mountain, where the "gondola tour" is is about 25 minutes away from downtown, u can take a bus or sometimes they have schedualed tour busses that go from downtown there for skiiers etc.

Check out Granville Street, Robson, Davie

around the Vapor lounge there's alot of crackheads if u go down east hastings so u probably want to stay more towards the downtown core then head east on hastings

if u have the money go to a Canucks game, they should be playing at home while u are here, scalper tickets will probably run u just under $200 for upper bowl seats, which are still decent

go smoke in Stanley park for some good views of the city/mountains

really thats all i can recomend seeing as it seems like your jsut coming to smoke? I live downtown and stopped going to the vapor lounge a while ago cause wasnt really feelin the vibe at the time, its probably better now

also if u go to Amsterdam Cafe which is next door, dont go around asking people to buy weed or they will get super choked, all the dirt ball stoners in there act like the place is their church and if u do things a wrong way etc. ppl seem to get offended easilly, even though me and my friends are like high class compared to those peeps we've almost smashed some skids head in for trying to talk down to us when the guy is like fucking homless :/

other then that enjoy Van, and just imagine it in a year when the olympics come

 

Vancouver is a great city. It reminds me so much of San Francisco. Finding pot is easy, just take a walk along Hastings there is a Park across the street from the New Amsterdam Cafe where you can find people smoking. BC Bud is all around.

I would recommend taking a walk around Stanley Park. Its one of the coolest parks I've ever been in, you can spend HOURS roaming around. There is a cool trail that goes around the entire park. You have great views of the city and the mountains and the cruise ships coming in. Its a real neat place.

 

just a warning, the bud your gonna find in the park across from amsterdamn cafe is just junkie weed

odds are u wont be able to find the kills without a connection

although the garbage junkies sell you might be "kills" to you lol

 

I hope the bud I find will be decent

so im doing the gondola tour, going to the New Amserdam Cafe, and Stanely Park. I definatly cant go to a game, thats a little too much $$$ for me. Any other suggestions?

Also I'm planning on buying a bong while there. Do you think if I don't smoke out of it, and its clean, could i bring it across the border and not have trouble?

 

i wouldnt smoke out of it before bringing it over. they tested our bongs for thc when we crossed the border. miss one spot and it wouldn't be good.

 

dont bother buying your peices from Amsterdam, walk down Davie street and there are a couple headshops there with much better prices

so will they for sure stop me and check my bong if i cross the border? Lets say I put the bong in a suit case and just put my clothes in the case with it? If they did stop me i could just say i was trying to "pad it", right?

 

well you could try it. we hadnt used our bongs so they obviously didnt test positive, but they found seeds in the truck and i got a 500 ticket because i was driving. im just saying you might be fine, but be aware how much it could cost you. we lost 1300 at the border beween paraphenelia losses and the ticket we got

 

damn that is shitty and i definatly dont want that! I shouldn't get busted if the paraphenila is clean...i hope. haha. damn this is tricky buisness.
