V for Vendetta?

Just wondering what you think about this film? I thought it was good, I loved the forground of the film, where as Children of Men had better background effect.

 

This a great film and I was suprised when I couldn't find any threads on it with the search engine, though it's a science fiction, not an action film. The movies themes are ones that members of this forum should be interested in like freedom and individuality, since those were some of the things hippies stood for.

 

Another thing interesting about it is that it deals with real topics today, such as restrictions on freedom of speech and the rise of the far right wing in the U.S. today.

 

V for Vendetta is a excellent movie, i would recommend to see.

Natalie Portman still looked good here... I enjoyed watching this flick...

 

i thought it was really interesting .. and quite frankly frightening how the government took over like that - but overall good movie so see it.

 

I thought it was a very very good film
but from what I heard, it makes a shit adaptation
I really wanna read the comic

 

i though it was a great film, it can keep you focused the whole way through plus the action is great

 

V for vendetta is definitively my favorite movie.

 

I've watched it a couple of times and I really thoroughly enjoyed it. Underated

 

Anyone who really liked this movie, seriously, check out the graphic novel. As far as plot and such goes; a million times better.

I'm in Thailand and I have no chance of finding one of my own. I read a lot but have never read a graphic novel. I would like to read this though.

 

I don't own it, I borrowed it from the library. Elsewise, I prolly would.

 

One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

when i saw the commercial for this i was like ahhh not one of these stupid action movies but actually i really liked it and it had a good plot

i really like the similarities to the nazis and other historical events

 

Great movie.

 

Good movie, the graphic novel blows it out the water though.

 

Is this movie anything like the movie V for Vagina? If so, I have to see it.

 

It wasn't my favorite movie but it was definitely good.
