Its dec 24, and its unusually warm. Years ago I would have had to wear a heavy coat, but today i would have been comfortable in a long sleeve shirt. On saturday i played football in a t-shirt and sweatpants, while my friends varied between shorts and sweatpants. Is it warmer near anyone else?

This is my warmest December ever, but then what do I expect...I moved to FL.
So while I can run around in shorts, my kids are complaining about snow blizzards or very chilly wind depending on which 1 I hear from.

No complaints here. Usually we have plenty of snow, ice, cold, misery etc but it's been in the 20s-low 30s here. It's not hot weather or even warm weather but it beats below freezing and we have no snow! Some might find this sad on Christmas Eve but not me!!!!

Yeah, it was upper 40's in Indianapolis today. Didn't even need a coat out. Just a sweater. I'm pretty sure it's going to hit us pretty hard, before the season's over. I mean, you guys forget we're only 3 days into Winter.

This year we had the warmest November in history, and if December continues apace, we'll have the warmest December since the first records were kept by those guys with the tall belt-buckle hats

It's a combination of Extreme el nino and the early stages of global warming :leaving:

i think so as well. if you see it and do not make changes in the way that you live then you just dont care. we changed all of our bulbs to energy efficient ones. cost quite a bit but was worth it. we are already very environmental friendly anyway....but you do see how much more you can do and how there is hope:D
i love it so very much and feel the message should be heard and seen by everyone. i was telling my boyfriends 10 year old daughter about it. i wrote her school to request it being added to the curriculm, which it is. but what touched me the most is when i told her about the Kyoto agreement and the US's decision not to sign it.....Sylvi(his daughter) wrote a letter to the mayor of Winston Salem to express how important she feels environmental issues are and to plead for his making it a definate part of an action plan for the city. she said that she wanted to do her best to save what she could so she could have grandkids one day. i was so touched and proud of her.
