1. The Hipforums announces it first ever fundraiser. After nearly 30 years online, we must ask our members and guests to help support the website. Thanks to years of ongoing financial support of our members, advertisers and volunteer admin staff, we have been able to keep the forums alive.

Now we must ask for help as available funds have all been used for our Internet server and other fees.

So please donate any amount to our PayPal account donate@Hipforum.com to keep the site going. If we can get enough for a few months fees, we won't need to nag you again!

You could also subscribe to the forums and get an upgrade to Supporter or Lifetime Supporter here

I think I understand addiction and as much as I hate to admit it it's comforting to know there are more people out there than just me swimming in their own self-loathing. My fear of death makes me limit how often I medicate but perhaps one day when I become immortal in my own mind I can run on the treadmill of continuous denial. I don't know how someone as young as me fucked up in such an irrevocable manner but I guess these things happen. We always overestimate how much time we've actually got, therein lays my dillemma. Do I deserve redemption? Probably, but who isn't their own toughest critic? Numbness will soon set in I'm sure, seven days to go before my next shot of life juice. Meditation doesn't work, scarification doesn't work, isolation doesn't work and the drugs definately don't work. I think I'm deficient in music,my intake is far below the reccomended daily average. Stay away from Nico and Cohen when the world seems its coldest, misery loves company. Their sad melody is the final resting place of countless depleted romantics. It takes so much energy to fake a meaningfull interaction with anyone, and they say hermits are the crazy ones. Look at all the spare time they have to invent friends, ones who agree with what they say and never pull any psychological power trips. Hermits are the kings of the world, they have no use for dinner parties.

You just about covered all the bases. Except for the hit that ended the ball game.
