They need to get their shit together and give the people what they want. An overwhelming amount of US citizens want legal marijuana, whether it be medical or full-legalization. Legalization and taxation would put a HUGE dent in the federal deficit, maybe even putting us back in the green(awesome pun).

Sounds like the older ones will hate you Jacob with your. "step parents" always have it rough anyway. Not sure if that's what you think of yourself as. I have a friend who was in a similar situation but his Mexican was a real train wreck and he was too at the time. Mid 40's with kids of all ages youngh and old. Kids hated him. Some cholos came to his house looking for her. She was not honest about her past. I never supported the relationship. He was basically her green card. Hope yours goes better.

 

I very very rarely go over to her apartment. I give them their space. She is a damn bulldog and is very responsible. I'm not stepping in as a parent, and i'm not trying to be one. Its not my job. If they need help with anything they know i'm just a phone call away. You gotta let them figure it out in life, I know I had to. Her kids come first and I know that and respect it. They are new to this state and I have a lot of connections and they are always available if they need it and they know that.

Her oldest worked at the same place we do (its how we met) he was in the night shift. He was recently fired for bullshit reasons. He a good guy.

They are all legal citizens. She has lived in the US for over 20 years.

 

lol I'm in my 30's too. A 16yo child and a 19yo child of a woman I was with would create a strange dynamic for ME. If it works for you though, more power to you and I hope it continues to go well

Id so be for something like calling Lowes or Home Depot right now and having a ladder and window delivered.. Id pay the 100$ shipping if they could do that in less than an hour..

She always comes over here. It can be pretty entertaining in a house with a bunch of guys in recovery with their girls also in recovery. We live in a different world for sure.
