Oooh, of course, the deadline. See, I knew that really Uhm well as we may be going away next month and might need some time to prepare I shall say Saturday 25th October will be the cutoff point for any voting. There are far less of us than last year anyway, should all be able to get your votes in by then! Is that ok with everyone? Results can be given the day after then. Well, hopefully

The trouble with setting deadlines is that ppl just take it as an excuse for delay - they think "oh I don't need to bother about that until 23.59 on the last day". How often do students hand in their coursework a week before it's due? Never, I can tell you.

 

I figured itd be a bit unfair just expecting everyone to do it quickly, then counting the results possibly before others come in...also itll be more convenient for me to count at the weekend, so thought Id let people know they had until then. We had a deadline last year that was about 2 weeks I think, that was fine. People just dont want to PM me, just give it to me straighthmph
