sup dawgz i saw a clip about the uk on the screen looks like yall better off bein the 52nd state of the states poor healthcare, ghettos n all u speak the same language as us too so why not? americans are winners and you can be too become part of the states fresh D
I think, I and I guess the rest of those in the Mother Country, would rather keep ourselves away from the land of the colonists -lol
Not sure about that, our healthcare is pretty decent, although not up to the standards of some of the EU countries. It looks like it's gradualy gonna be sold off though what's really fucking bad. So given about 10 years we might fall inline with the US with regards to privatized health care. I'm just wondering what the fuck is gonna happen to try and make us except it over here, or if they are gonna just try and slip it past us quietly as they do with some laws here nowdays.
or meth heads ... this inspires me for a thread ... http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=7120454#post7120454
I can see our political spectrum getting narrower by the year so maybe we will end up with the same lack of choice that the U.S has now - Right-wing or more Right-wing.
But, overal our country would count as the UK, so the whole of the UK would be a state not England. Secondly, we both have completely different cultures. ALSO, the UK is a part of the EU. We can't just turn our backs on them. Europe is much better than America anyway. I'd rather be a peacful European tyvm. If the UK becomes a part of the US, I'd be the first one to leave.
But if we became part of the US we'd have to have all their shitty fastfood culture over here........oh wait...
It's getting pretty much like that over here already. We share MAJOR tv shows created to gain the attention spans of the susceptible luring them further into false emotion, massive fatties parading their glutton of fast food. Youth culture is appalling and both sides share their love of awfully made dubstep and nobody respects ANYONE, never mind it being their elders. Both are as bad as each other as far as mainstream living is considered.
When Bill Clinton was President, Tony Blur was his butler. Not sure if the same situation applies today. There is a cultural divide. Americans are not generally self-deprecating, don't know how to be whimsy and correct me if I am wrong only about 5% have passports. For the record I grew up in the UK but the only thing I miss is lardy cake.
