I need some hairstyles for my dreadlocks, different ways to tie them up etc

I have a christmas dinner to go to with my husbands company and I dont want to turn up dressed all nice looking like my hair has been dragged through a bush backwards ( although on a normal, non special occaison day id be qiote happy to look that way ).....any ideas people?

depends on how long they are ,,, i take a dread from each side and tie behind on my head, then grab a couple more and go down the back of my hair, and do it as many times as i feel like tieing,, keeps it all back n fairly under control ... i also flip mine up on my head almost like a bun and tie a dread around them or just flip the back hair up in half like and tie it up with a dread from either side...

you can always do a hair wrap. with the right outfit, a brightly colored wrap is an amazing accessory and keeps you looking more presentable for those special occasions.

i grab a few locks from one side of my forehead and twist them towards my ear, then add some more and keep twisting, add more etc till i reach my nape. use a clip to hold em in place and then do the same the other side. hold the ponytail and twist that up the back of my head, use a couple of wooden spikey things to hold it together then secure with hair pins ;)
    looks dead posh!

I french braid mine if I don't want them to look so dread-like. you could do one or two french braids, and then tuck the end up under it.
