Two sequential dreams

This is by far the weirdest thing I have ever dreamt of, and I have no idea as to what it could mean. There were two dreams; one 2 nights ago, and the other was last night.

So the first dream was weird beyond all reason. My brother had been infected with some weird, highly contagious disease [or maybe just a really bad cold] and everybody abandoned him because they didn't want to catch it from him. It wasn't a terminal illness or anything, and he knew he's become well soon enough - but dispite my horrible fear of catching it, I couldn't leave him all alone in the shape he was in. So the dream ends with me falling asleep in the same room as him - that's when I woke up in real life, utterly creeped out by the dream for some weird reason.

So last night, I had a dream that actually continued directly from that one, which has NEVER happened to me before in my entire life! In the beginning of my dream, I wake up in the same room and my brother is gone/feeling well but not around. I try to get up but I feel really, really weak so I stay in bed. Everybody had abandoned me, and I had caught the virus. The rest of the dream consisted of me vomiting all over the place and nobody there to help me out in my time of need, since I could hardly move. Then, apparently a day had passed [or just a few hours] because though I was still alone, I regained my health and was 100% fine from that pointo on, and I staggered to my feet which could actually hold my body up for once.

What is this supposed to mean? Something tells me this dream might be significant but I don't get why. It's almost as if it signifies betrayal or something, but in either case it definitely creeps me out.
