Anyone who has experience going to college with a crappy dining hall-- any tips for keeping it natural and healthy in the dorms? Tips on how to keep the love flowing in college period?

I was afraid I was gonna have to live in a dorm and this was my plan: Get a lot of fruit all the time, and there are lots of healthy microwavable things if you go to Trader Joes or Whole Foods.. you can get healthy cereals too.. yogurt. My friend ate like nothing but yogurt and lost a bunch of weight hah. Gooood luck!!

Hmmm, it's HARD. But some things you can do:
If eating in the dining hall, at least get a salad to go with things--fill up some of the appetite with something really healthy. Beyond that, yeah, nonfat/lowfat yogurts, fruits, that sort of stuff, either as snacks or for breakfast. The hard part is working the system at your school in order to eat within the confines of what's available and also affordable
