Nope. Just got home from a meeting. I do a good bit of work for a youth group and the adults meet on the 1st Thursday of each month. TNP likes shrimp gumbo
yes, also scampi, also dirty rice, also most things that don't eat me furst. tnp likes seeing feral creatures and knows how to not scare them away so they can
Will be camping this weekend but not travelling far. TNP like to make smores over a campfire on a chilly evening.
Graham crackers with melted marshmallows and chocolate. Prepared over an open flame, this camping favorite is great for the holidays, too. TNP, would consider enjoying some s’mores.
yuck, no, not even at all. honestly can't stand the taste of those damd things, toasted or otherwise. waste of a perfectly good campfire and pointed stick. tnp loves roasting hot dogs over a campfire on the end of a pointed stick.
i love a lot of things that are associated with the time of year. not the part about the claim of who was born when, nor the seasonal music nor the retail feeding frenzy, but i love the idea of people feeling obliged to be peaceful and considerate toward each other, essentially from the winder's solstice until what is considered the furst day of the next year in most english speaking parts of the planet. and that includes many of the things to do with an accumulation of snow on the ground, such as watching snow plows at work, especially rotary snow plows on the railroad, also hot chocklet, and all the seasonal foods, although i don't really understand why so many of them seem to be thought of as seasonal. also the idea of a big midwinter feast, and yes, even the giving and receiving of gifts, though i haven't had people to participate in that with for many years. which is also in a way kind of a relief too, to not have to worry about that. i like the decorating of trees, but not the chopping down of them to bring them inside to die in the middle of someone's living room. tnp loves that the shortest day of the year is the shortest period of daylight hours of that day, and that until the summer solstice they will continue to get longer again.
