Really what RT is turning into, just, not as well as some other places where it happens, at least with some art.

i thought that was what it has always been?
i mean thats what its been overall since i first came here WAY back when. once in a great while a click will get all up in each others asses and turn it into a relatively civil place but that never lasts..

thats what this forum is for imo.

 

I agree with u Dave.
I've had high count posters who've moved to the other forums more , say a similar thing.
Sort of the simmering animosity and "dissing for fun" stuff.
Even fairly recently , it seemed maybe alittle more "one community" like.
( minus the Lucky , Ivy stuff etc).

Actually I think its a shame really.Genuinely.

 

And here I was beginning to think people had forgotten....

I mean some of the most interesting people to come through have been trolls. Some smart, some dumb..... but all entertaining as hell.

There's a place for people who can't handle it. If you're too pussy for RT than I think this is for you......

Compared to other forums , this has been *very* laid back in recent times.
But its changed.Sort of the "online fashion accessories" are a personal enemy , and something to diss people over.
Some of these people cant relate to others in RL , and they're doing an even shitter job here...Kind of sad.
Dunno , just the perception of people I've spoken too.

i remember WAY back when i first came here (97 or 98) the HELL i took in this forum from syd burnz and pressed rat and the crew. this place since its inception is was and always will be a place where folks get jumped in and either hang with it or leave.

I've been here for 4 years now...nothing has really changed all that much here. If anything, it's a hell of a lot calmer now in comparison to my early days. I don't understand why people are just now bitching about it.

 

They're not. It's an ongoing thing. For as long as we've been assholes, there have been people whining about it. Not all of them are whiny enough to dedicate a whole thread to it, so it's not always as obvious.
