Tripping too much in a short period of time gave my sclera (white part of eye) marks.

Is there anyway I can get rid of this? Visine doesn't do anything. My eyes also twitch and my vision isn't as sharp anymore. This I think will heal on its own though. Its these veins and grayish marks on the whites of my eyes that bother me. Is there anyway I can make them a pure white again?

I know these symptoms came only because of my abuse of these drugs. They are incredible tools, I was young, and just didn't use them properly.

    Try visene LR.

What makes you think it's from tripping?

Vitamin a and b complex deficiency can cause that. See a doctor but don't tell him about tripping. See if they can determine what's wrong through a full blood workup. :cheers2:

Hey, thanks for answering. I doubt the visine is going to work, and I don't really want to be putting eye drops everyday of my life.

I know its from tripping because I started tripping a lot in a short period of time, and after that I started having eye problems. Specifically when I took EX. I was feeling so good, my eyes started rolling back by themselves then my friend told me to do "the undertaker" which is rolling your eyes back, so I did it deliberately while my eyes were already doing it by itself. Then my eye felt like it got stuck and I started panicing. A long time after that I felt like my eyes were kind of crossed. After a while now, I can't see things that are far as good, things are blurry and my eyes don't focus as quick. I think its a possibility my constant panic caused my eye problems, so maybe the opposite can help, a positive mind state, like The Secret (law of attraction) says?

I'm only 20, I'm under my dads insurance and we've been going to the same eye doctor for years. I don't want my dad finding out by the doctor saying whoa! What have you been doing boy!

Its been well over 2 months

I doubt it's a result of the LSD (I also doubt x, but not 100% sure.)
Gray or blue in the whites of your eyes can indicate other issues, so I think you should have it checked out.
    (I agree with hawaiinkine)
Get some blood work, or whatever a PCP says you should do to diagnose.

Like you said, you're too young to mess up your eyes. (Everyone is.) You should really check it out.

You don't want your tripping to interfere with taking care or yourself.

There's no way an eye dr would be able to look at your eyes and tell that you took LSD or X unless you were still tripping and dilated.

They would be able to tell you if there was something else wrong though and help you out.

Please, please seek medical attention if the problem is as serious as it sounds. Flecks of gray in the eyes and blurred vision is not something to wait and see about.

Maybe it's just burst blood vessels (but that usually starts off red). But, that doesn't usually cause any vision problems afaik.

(I think this is one of the biggest problems with prohibition. People are afraid to seek medical and even legal help when they are in trouble because they fear they will be persecuted.)

did you change anything in your diet or in your daily habit during your months of tripping?

or were you taking other drugs too?

because if what you describe is true, then it would be the first recorded reaction of this to LSD

any new foods, any new pets, any new furniture, any new soaps\lotions, any new piercings/jewelery? It could be an allergic reaction to one of those things

No there was no change in my diet and I don't take pills. Its something the psychedelics influenced specifically the EX trip I described earlier.

Maybe this is stretching it but one possibility that comes to my mind is that you were so disconnected from yourself that you didn't realize when you were doing silly things like rolling your eyes back in your head that you were doing it far too hard and doing damage.

Psychedelics can mess with how your eyes move and sync with each other and such things. I would say it almost sounds like maybe you pulled/cramped your eye muscles or something (if thats even possible?) Have you ever gotten a leg cramp? The muscle just suddenly contracts violently regardless of what signals you're trying to send to it from yer brain until you massage it or it passes naturally or something. This eye thing sounds similar.

Like I said, maybe this is a stretch, but is it possible you pushed your eyes too hard when you were rolling them back, the muscle contracted violently and locked up, and literally stretched out the surface of your eyeball a bit? This might explain both the changes in appearance and vision.

I'm no optometrist though, this whole idea could just be rediculous from a medical standpoint. but as far as I can tell it seems somewhat feasible. I can think of no other reason why a drug like acid could possibly cause something like this.

EDIT - I just realized that you said this particular thing happened while you were on ecstasy. I could still see this as a possibility though since ecstasy can dehydrate you and probably make it easier to have muscle cramps. And if you're taking LSD and ecstasy within a short period of eachother who knows what the hell it'll make your eye muscles do. Probably nothing, but that sounds like an unhealthy combination of drugs just the same.

I think you mean ophthalmologist or orthoptists. Optometrist is for glasses and such. :D

This may sound crazy but I think you're onto something.
I dont have marks on my eyes, but ever since I dropped my eyes don't focus as fast either

Yeah i noticed sometimes when i take lsd i have this problem too i get really red vien marks in one specific spot like a blotch of veins. I think that's like the worst side effect it has.

Yeah you could be right. The thing that is really strange is, even though it was my right eye that got stuck, both of my eyes have these dark spots around the sclera. They also twitch a lot now. I'm not superstitious at all, I'm more of a logical thinker, but do you think my constant paranoia could've caused the damage? Sort of like the idea that's explained in the Secret, the law of attraction, that stress causes disease? because I was really paranoid for a while that I was gonna be cross-eyed and people were gonna say "wtf happen to your eye?" And one time a really strange thing happen. I was in the backseat of my friends car, he's driving and his sunroof is open. I was paranoid as ever about my eye, because it was about 2 days after the trip, and all of a sudden some big thing from a tree drops through the sunroof and hits me in that right eye!!! It was the weirdest thing, what are the chances? Do you think our energy is so strong that we can draw things like that to us? Even an illness? Let me remind you, when that happened, I was very very paranoid.

I have that in my left eye towards the inside, but it's from before drugs (except weed) when some kid poked my eye during an organized basketball game. I couldn't open my eye for like two days.

so are you sure this isn't a physical type of thing? maybe you just got poked and forgot about it or something. you could just really be stressed...I imagine the eye is one of the first places stress will accumulate...maybe you should try a meditation. really relax your eyes for once.

if you're sure it's from the acid then I don't really know what to say but I really doubt it.

Yeah it doesn't happen to me every time but when it does happen i know for a fact its from lsd. Whenever i'm tripping and look in the mirror i see the blotch of veins in my eye which i never have otherwise. Then it goes away by the end of the next day at longest.
