Top Gear

This program makes me so mad - some of the cars are cool, but he shamelessly advocates 4x4 use when he is in a position of power and therefore responsibility. My brother was watching it the other night, and he actually took one off-road (strange i know) and drove it up a beautiful hill in Scotland that had never been driven up before, it was disgusting, in this beast of a car. There must be some sort of Stop Gear organisation, does anyone know?

Stop Gear, that would be a catchy slogan! Clarkson is a right wing wanker anyway, I doubt he cares much for the environment. I think we should start a Clamp Clarkson Campaign....

 

he's no more a right wing wanker than a left wing wanker is he? He has no respect for idiots who cannot work things out for themselves, and he delights in upsetting those who love to get upset, but i see no real biases towards any particular political stance. He's slagged off all the political parties in the past. He's great, cars are great, and Top Gear is great, and long will it continue..!

 

I'm not talking in terms of party politics, I mean in terms of his stance on most issues....

 

That's a character he's playing for TV and the papers, it gets people talking doanchaknow.

That's a bit of an understatement... He often goes out of his way to project his backwards views on the subject, he's a bit of a tit. Of course there's always the argument that he's parodying himself and just acting up for TV, and there is a bit of that. But he's always been a tit and I think somehow people started to think that he was deliberately being an Alan Partridge style sendup of himself, so he turned his bigotry and idiocy up a notch to tip it over into irony ... but it's quite clear that he is underneath the sheen of self-awareness, at heart a true and sincere bigot and fundamentally a right wing tit.
