its hard to narrow it down, but something made me think of this....

when skylie was a newborn, i got into bed (she had already been sleeping), and whispered 'i love you' to her. She smiled in her sleep so BIG!! i cried, it was so sweet.

what are some of your top cutest moments?

haha! sky does that too! it seems like lately she really wants to communicate and cant as much as she liked to so she gets frustrated and will either bite or hit (not hard) my arm...but i say 'ow,that hurt', and she hugs and kisses whever she hit.

    what a booger.

For me it was when Dakota looked at me and said, "You're the bestest mama in the whole world."

I'm not a mama yet, but I had to share a story of when my 15 year old brother was a toddler, just beginning to talk. My mom raised us both on music, played it to us in the womb, played it almost nonstop from our births, and she had this thing for gospel and country music. She had just bought a Conway Twitty tape and was playing it a lot, especially one song, "Hello Darlin'". One day, my brother wandered into her bedroom and just stood in the doorway, got the cutest expression in the world on his face (this huge smile), and blurted out, "Hewwo Dawin!" It was too cute.

My mom also said when I was little, she put me in my crib in my room for naptime and I always had problems with naptime, so she figured I'd play in there and wear myself out (I wasn't crying or fussing or anything), so she went and took a bath during her moment of peace. She said she got out of the bathroom and the minute she opened the door, she heard a quiet tapping coming from my bedroom across the hall. She opened the door to see what in the world it was, and I was standing there, looking as proud as could be. I had climbed out of my crib and since I was too little to reach the doorknob, I knocked on it to be let out. She said it was way too cute to be mad at me, but that was the day they decided to get me a toddler bed.

I don't know why, but I'm having some trouble thinking of some of the best things....I know there's a ton, but they just ain't comin....blah
BUT, I did think of one...
In the morning, leane usually wakes up before us and likes to kick us and stuff. Most mornings, she loves to grab my bra strap (it's a beaded one, so she likes it) and pull it back and snap it (ouch!). It's REALLY not pleasant to wake up to, and I am basically the equivilant of a monster in the morning, but once I finally look at her, she gets this MASSIVE grin on her face and starts to giggle! Then I just can't resist and grab her! lol

we used to cosleep when my babies were little. one spring morning, my son woke up at dawn (he was probably not quite 2 yet), and said very excitedly, 'mommy, i hear boidies singing!'...
and i said, 'you are SO cute. go back to sleep'.
