Today in La Paz there is abundant sunshine, cooler temperatures and a little breeze to keep the air circulating.

This evening I am looking forward to a delivery of fresh fish and camarones (prawns) from a local fisherman. I have been searching for months for a local fisherman to bring me some of his catch. And what do you know, the fellow who lives next door does just that. The camarones are from the farm tanks down the road, and the fish he catches from his boat. I'll let you know how the seafood dinner is when I post tomorrow.

Stormy Weather... we listened to this as a child on the sailboat in the Caribbean. Dad would play it often. He also liked Eartha Kitt, Persuasive Percussion and played honky tonk piano.

 

@Boozercruiser your garden looks sunny at the moment, glad to see that! But the swinging stone is not moving...

We had a lot of rain in Amsterdam when I lived there, so I would play this song when it was getting to me and I needed some sun...



The house I lived in on Fahrenheitstraat had a built-in very expensive Bang & Olufson stereo system that played CD's, cassette tapes (remember those), vinyl albums on a turntable, and had AM/FM/Shortwave radio...the speakers were in every room of the house and could be controlled individually from each room. We could literally make that old Dutch row house jump up and down like Bada Yaga's hut in Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky.

 

Good Morning from Sunny La Paz, BCS, Mexico. The weather warmed back up a bit, but it is still quite nice every day.



The waterfront Malecon is open for business! Until 6pm only. Sadly the locals and tourists can't keep their masks on and were congregating in large groups. So the President of the State of Baja Sur decreed that from Thursday through Sunday the Malecon will close from 6 pm until 6 am. Bah humbug and a pox on those selfish people who refuse to wear a mask for EVERYONE's health and safety.

 

@hotwater sounds like you need some sunshine! Autumn in upon you up there in Massachusetts. But that is a beautiful state. I spent the first few years of life on a farm in Princeton, just west of you, south of Leominster. The town was and is so small it is like a forgotten time zone. Mt Wachusett looms over the town.
