A beautiful day here sunny and 70’s a great day for catching up on the lawn mowing

 

This time I'm staying on the other side of the river. I almost got trapped when it flooded the roads the last time. I had to drive all over the place to get back home lol

 

Well, try as I might, there's no accounting for idiots who refuse to learn. Sobeit, when sea rises and floods, not only his garden but his house too. Then we shall see when he's up to his arse in sewerage water !!!

 

We do live at the base of a mountain, so...

Today in Northern Connecticut it's 79F and partly cloudy, humidity OK , not too high.
Ain't nothing shaking but the leaves on the trees; there IS some windiness.

Used to camp on top of our mountain; Crow Hill, it's called, but IS a mountain, as Donovan would say.
We had an earthquake back in 1984 or so, when I was staying in Turner's Falls, Massachusetts.
I thought one of the kids was shaking my bed, but it was an earthquake! Amazed me, since we were in Massachusetts!

 

It's been as entertaining as a barrel full of monkey's

 

Has anyone ever asked themselves whether a barrel full of monkeys would be much fun?
I think the little bastards would resent being crammed into a barrel and not fun at all!

 

When you were a kid you never played the game Barrel of Monkey’s?

It was developed by Lakeside Industries and marketed by the Hasbro section of the Milton Bradley company just north of you in Springfield Massachusetts

FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

Widespread 2.50 to 5 inches of rain expected with isolated amounts up to 6 or 7 inches not out of the question. This will bring the potential for rare high impact type of flooding to southern New England.

The potential for very significant urban and small stream flash flooding exists as well as the possibility of significant River Flooding. Some roads may become flooded and impossible with perhaps even few road washouts. While the axis of heaviest rainfall remains uncertain, areas near and south of the Massachusetts turnpike appear to be at greatest risk.
