Yes Angel like Zen says thank you for update on your eye situation and humidity. Sorry I haven’t been able to do proper weather posts as for one on my IPad or IPhone they are not as easy to do in my usual way. Plus on the top 7th Floor of our hotel here in Liverpool data and wi fi signal has been a problem. Having a great time here though we’re we are until Sunday celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary on 1st July and my birthday on 3rd July. Weather is lovely and the forecast is good at 21/22c and sunny for the rest of week. Bye for now and have a lovely week yourselves. …
We tied the all-time high temperatures for the day on Monday with a high of 97°F and a high of 99°F on Tuesday, and should easily shatter the all-time high temp for Wednesday which is 95°F Newton, MA Forecast High 98°F RealFeel® 105° RealFeel Shade™ 98° 6/30 Some sun, very hot, humid; a severe afternoon t-storm; thunderstorms can bring flash flooding, large hail and damaging wind gusts
Yeah definitely. I'm happy. I like running in it and I thrive in it. The video was definitely funny hahahaha
We might see some thunderstorms tonight. Luckily it's coming later on in the evening after I get done with my outdoor activities
Well Congratulations to Kenny and his wife! Your anniversary is the same as HipForums!!!! Yes, July 1st will mark 25 years since we created Hip! And Happy Birthday in advance Hope the sun shines for you! And have a great Wednesday!
Woke up all sweaty even though I was practically naked AND sleeping in front of a fan cranked up to high. Plus my blood sugar was low at 64! Sucked down a Glucerna and came to see whether brother Kenny had been around; glad to see he was, and having fun! Another record temperature today with heat advisory. Cooling stations set up in several places within the community and I would go if I could, but no transportation, so it's a couple cold showers for me today! Currently 93F. but the humidity is making it feel hotter. The cats are lying on the hardwood floor of the hallway where they feel coolest, instead of jockeying for the prime windowsill positions. Sweet Brother Kenny, so glad to see you here! So how's the weather in Liverpool? Should be better than inland, seaport location helps. Running in this heat?!? No way, that is, if I could run. Bob likes this weather. He waited for it, and will mow the lawn later, closest he gets to running. Never could understand recreational running...only way I would run, I always said, is if something was chasing me. Well, I'll check back later. For now, I'll go back to listening to my audio book-- currently Stephen King's The Stand-- and trying to figure tonight's supper menu. Till later!
We did it we hit 100 F today The first time since 2011 now we wait on the severe weather........... Great to hear from you AngelMama! So sorry for the heat, stay safe !!! Drink lots of water Planning the menu every day is something I also do, and then I get to cook it also. No one else around here is going to do it, and if they do, what a mess I liked reading The Stand way better than either the movie or TV series...
Well, last night La Paz meets La Tormenta Enrique. La Paz eats La Tormenta. Tormenta gets revenge and dumps six inches of water on us in about a half hour. The trees are washed green again from the ever present layers of dust. The house shed it's layers of dust as mud down the roof spouts. The gravel in the courtyard is all colorful as the dust washed away. And it was 100 F Monday, today the weather is:
Actually the BSO will be playing at Tanglewood this fourth of July rather than at the Esplande on the Charles due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. It will be live streamed, which is crazy since the positivity rate is 0.156, 80% of all adults have had at least one shot, and unlike most states we've reached herd immunity. "The Stars and Stripes Forever." and Tchaikovsky’s "1812" Overture, live streamed, really - sigh
Me too; in a book, you know what people are thinking and feeling. Much of this cannot be transmitted on film. Heat wave lifting as well. Made baked macaroni and cheese tonight
Today we have thunderstorms. No running today. Hopefully this cools off some so I can get out on the water and fish
I know it is sad to hear it live streamed, but I really think that it is not over yet... and the new variants are spreading. Your state may have better vaccination rates, but with fluid borders that won't last. Too many others refuse to get the vaccine. And recent confusing guidelines about masks is not good at all. Even Bill Maher is in a fantasy land of denial about that, urging everyone to go out and party unmasked is NOT good advice. Being in my 'third stage of life' with pre-existing conditions lead me to say, I am going to play it safe and stay masked in pubic for quite some time.
